Earlier this morning, on President Trump's orders, I directed a lethal, kinetic strike on a narco-trafficking vessel affiliated with Designated Terrorist Organizations in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike, and no U.S. forces were harmed in the operation. The strike was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics - headed to America to poison our people.

Our intelligence, without a doubt, confirmed that this vessel was trafficking narcotics, the people onboard were narco-terrorists, and they were operating on a known narco-trafficking transit route. These strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people are over!!!!

Another drug boat has gone over to that Silvah City, Lawd, Lawd.
It doesn't look like the sort of boat that could make the trip from Venezuela to the US.

Donald Trump could be on new $1 coin: What to know - Newsweek

This is disgusting. Celebrating the 250th birthday of this country should not be commemorated by plastering this fat, slob of a man baby all over everything. It always has to be about him; he is such a weak, soulless child.

I'm not surprised, though, all dictators eventually put themselves on the currency. Plus, he knows he has to force all this crap on us now because history will not do it for him.
US coinage laws explicitly prohibit putting a living person's face on currency.

Not that these clowns have let laws stop them before...

Well, now they want to weaken bank capital rules... They want to systematically hollow out every facet of American economic safety...

Revamping Bank Capital Rules
it is a complicated issue... And maybe the rules are restrictive... But mainly the banks know they can play fast and loose and when the piper comes calling the Federal Gubnment will lob tax payer money at them again.

I watched the raw video from last night. By all accounts, it was a peaceful protest. But ICE decided enough was enough, brought out the flash grenades and tear gas and started arresting people.

No sightings of Blackhawk helos yet. But I figure they are coming. :/

This used to be a great country. Their version of "great" is terrifying.

From Inside China Business:

Summary of how big banks make money regardless of what is happening in the economy. Big money supports moving off shore for years then when tariffs hit they charge exhorbitant rates for the importers trapped with their orders hitting US Customs.

The high tariffs are causing big problems for US companies importing products from abroad. So a new industry has formed to make high-interest rate loans to cover the costs of the tariffs. And it’s booming.

Small businesses are getting hit especially hard, and they’re borrowing to pay the tariffs and avoid having their imports seized by customs officials. Slope is a startup that has received funding from JP Morgan Chase, among others, and new applications for credit lines from Slope are up over 8 times this year. Once it became obvious to importers that the high tariffs from China are here to stay, companies don’t have a lot of good choices to pay the customs fees.

Slope is just four years old, and already has backing from big Silicon Valley investors. Sam Altman and a group of others kicked in $30 million in 2022. Last year JP Morgan Chase put in another $65 million in debt and equity. Slope didn’t even need the extra funds at that point, but JP Morgan has an enormous client base of small and medium-sized businesses, and lots of those need new sources of capital to pay the new high tariffs.

Slope can approve credit lines of $250,000 right away, and in two days can approve $3 million. Another firm in this space, Wayflyer, is also seeing a boom, with new applications in July up 28% in a single month. Clearco is another lender who lent 46% more this summer compared to last.

The new tariff policies are creating “volatility and uncertainty”, so companies are desperate to shore up liquidity in case they need it in a hurry.

Here is how operating loans typically work, for companies borrowing to acquire merchandise and inventory. We’ll draw down the line, then pay at back as the products sell. But the high tariffs scramble that schedule—companies have to pay the customs fees before the products are sold, just a couple of days after arrival. So these lenders can charge much higher rates—annual percentage rates on these loans are 20% or more, but importers don’t have much choice. Failure to pay the tariffs on time means high penalties, or seizures of the goods.

Here are some real-life examples of how it’s working. One of Slope’s customers needed a new credit line to pay $300,000 in tariffs when their large shipment arrived from China. They borrow at 1.5% per month, which is over 19% annualized. Another company that imports sporting goods and household products needed a bridge loan between paying the Chinese factory and his customers in the United States. The company has already raised prices, 15%-20%, so they hope to get it back upon sale, but they need financing to get it into stores and on Amazon.

Another brand, Obvi, needed the money to stock inventory for next year. Their manufacturing costs are already higher by 12%. But the uncertainty is a problem for them too. CEO says it’s weird he needs new credit lines, just because nobody knows what the rules are going to be, day-to-day.

Will Chau is an importer from California, and the tariffs put him out of business for electronics and generators, so he’s trying now to import modular homes from Canada for sale in California. He’s working twice as hard just to stay alive, lots of companies are going out of business.

Not private equity firms or big Wall Street banks, though. Somehow they always make money.

Trump Sends California Guard Troops to Portland, Ore., Newsom Says
The move follows a judge’s order on Saturday that blocked the Oregon National Guard from deploying there. California’s governor said the state would sue.

Incredibly, Trump's abuse of power is getting even worse. He is intent on using our troops against our citizens. How long before the military begins to disobey his orders?

Watched a video yesterday by a young woman whom I doubted intially. Her discussion was on how complex systems can break down if enough of the components are placed under stress within a short period of time. One factor such as unemployment can be under stress witout impacting the whole.
Like a rubber band it can be placed under stress until it breaks catastrophically. She mentioned the growth in unemployment, food inflation, agricultural markets falling precipitously, decline of the value of the dollar and its impact on servicing our public debt, the pressure being applied to the military to be utilized for political purposes at home in violation of its code of conduct which ultimately could yield to opposition by the military. We can all see the potential impact of a drop in consumer demand and the vicious cycle that it creates.

What concerned me the most is that Google removed her post it its entirety as if it never existed. Where do we obtain accurate information in an environment dominated by these large corporations who bend the knee?

The 69-year-old judge had received death threats in the weeks leading up to the fire, multiple sources told FITSNews. Last month, Goodstein had temporarily blocked the state’s election commission from releasing its voter files to the Department of Justice, a decision that was openly criticized by Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon and later reversed by the state Supreme Court. The DOJ had sought the information, including names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, and social security numbers, of over three million registered voters as part of President Donald Trump’s March executive order restricting non-citizens from registering to vote. (Non-citizens are already not allowed to vote in federal and state elections.)

Tht is a good point to be made. While everyone is blaming the Demoncrats or the MAGA, we have many large corporations who do bad things to make a buck.

I’ll withhold judgment on this until the cause of the fire is determined. I hope it’s not arson. The political violence has to stop.
