The HBO/MAX "Billy Joel: And So It Goes' is a masterclass musical documentary. Highly recommended whether you like his music or not.

It pulls no punches yet it remains inspirational.

Most here agree that ESPN's "30 for 30" series was one of the best ever documentary series' in history of the sport.

One of my favs was the "'85 Bears". Highly recommended.

Vince Vaughn was Executive Producer and also narrated.

I watched this video last night before going to bed. Then had a dream I met up with 2 old surfing buddies after paddling in from a very short surf session. In the dream, we talked more about changes in our neighborhood properties than anything else. Just "every day" stuff.

I guess that's how it evolves when you age.

If you ever thumbed through a copy of "Surfer Magazine" from the 70's or 80's - you have seen photographs from Jeff Divine.

I have slowed way down myself. Much of it due to aching joints and orthopedics in general not working as they did - or should. Many of my counterparts have gone the SUP and/or long board route - something I am reluctant to do. Was thinking more along the lines of boogie boarding or rafting. I also have other interests now I didn't when I was younger, including motorcycles, so those are filling the void, I guess.

The worst spot seems to be the Lauterbrunnen valley in Switzerland from fliers making "terrain mistakes." It's sometimes called the "Valley of Death" by that group. IDK why. I've been there a number of times and it's a standard glaciated valley, with vertical walls and numerous waterfalls (hence the name)...
