Nah, he may very well have taken the job, but I know we are trying him too, so I'd just wait until you hear something you can hold on to, that's all.

Clements is associated with one of the biggest pains in my young stomach from that 73 game(24-23). Brings back that memory everytime I hear his name, but maybe he will call some clutch plays for Bama in that same kind of game and moment.

I think that it is at least worth mentioning that Jimbo might be a little bit gunshy dealign with the University of Alabama. It was only a couple weeks ago that the BOT cost him the opportunity to be the HEAD COACH at UAB.
I would love to see him come, but if he goes in a different direction then we will have to wonder what part that could have played in the decision.

Was he really interested in the UAB job? Why take the HC job at UAB when you could be the OC at FSU and be set to takeover for a soon-to-be retired Bowden? It wouldnt have been wise to go to UAB.
At this hour, seems that Fisher may be leaning our way... and BTW, the BOT's did not cost Fisher the UAB job. That was a stupid rumor begun my Ben Cook that picked up steam in internet circles.
