Joe McKnight's coach may be hired as Director of Player Development per BamaMag mod

Re: Joe McKnight's coach may be hired as DFO/RC per BamaMag mod

whoa... I know he is a great talent, but lets take it easy. We have a solid stable of running backs to begin with. Now, if we can get the O-line to find the weight room and use it.:biggrin2:

rtr:BigA:

McKnight could give us that Reggie Bush/Prothro type game-breaker we've been missing. That's how hyped up scouts are with him.

Good Lord are you kidding me? If JT Curtis wanted to move up the coaching ranks he could have done it 20 years ago. You don't know much about the Curtis family if you think he's looking for a pay day.

I think I saw that McKnight runs a 4.4

In the all star game yesterday in SA, it was apparent that every time JM touched the ball something big could happen. He looked a step faster than everyone on the field and those guys were the cream of the high school crop and most will land at major D-1 schools. In these types of games, the coaches don't have the time to scheme very much so they ran pretty vanilla stuff. Put this guy in an offense the utilized his speed and escapability and he'll be special!

Yes, he is Reggie Bush good. That's the word I always hear on Rivals radio. I hope he comes to the Capstone.:BigA:

Joe McKnight is the guy we have been missing since last years Uf game. This kid will dominate if he comes.

On Rivals Alabama isn't even listed as one of his choices.

Has he indicated we might be in the running anywhere??

Not likely JT Curtis will leave the school his dad built. But stranger thing have happened. I mean Jamarcus Russell just held a late news conference to say he was coming back for one more year. Go figure...

How would you compare him to Adrian Peterson (pre-college)?

Yeah, Jesus just came to my house and told me He was coming back next year.....He even went as far to tell me the day and hour. Must be something in the air.

This was ESPN`s report on JR today. They`re reporting the JR PC for this coming Wed.

... i agree CO, that school seems to be his heart and soul

... i have read that nine different family members are coaches, including at least one son, so he could conceivably step aside for someone else's sake

... don't know him, but from what i read he seems like a jewel of a man

... just some thoughts
