Introduce ourselves.

I am Chris living in Albemarle NC. I am a graduate of Wake Forest and University of Virginia. I taught Chemistry at Alabama 1967-77. Also had several administrative posts there also. My two sons were born in Tuscaloosa. Both attended UNC but are big Alabama fans. Daughter went to Wake Forest and is also a big Alabama fan. Left Bama in 1977 and became VP of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. In 1981 left education to join my wife's family jewelry business. I have been there ever since, going into semi-retirement two years ago. Still get down to one or two games a year and, now that we are sort of retired, might make a few more.
This year had to go to the Orange Bowl to watch Wake Forest play.
Wake Forest-Virginia-Alabama-all very classy schools. Have a lot in common.
TideFans is my favorite pastime. Sometimes I feel as though I have several thousand very special friends.
This is more than you wanted to know.

Name's Wes. From Randolph County, Alabama. Tidefans has been my sanctuary (as a lurker) and security blanket during the recent tough times. I work for some great guys but they are AU fans.

Hey, Wes. I live just up the road from you in Ranburne! We're practically neighbors..

I suppose I should introduce myself to everyone. I'm Don, and I live in Ranburne, AL. That's at the last exit on I-20 just before crossing into Georgia. Welcome aboard, and ROLL TIDE! :BigA:

Hey, Mark I'm Larry from Louisville Kentucky where there are whole lot of Bama fans here. I was raised in Muscle Shoals and the Lexington area and have many kinfolks there. Its a four hour drive to the Athens exit from my home. I'm married to a Card fan who understands my Bama passion, and I'm blessed to have her choose me as her mate. I'm also a disciple for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 1st Samual 16:7

I'm Danny, lived in Tuscaloosa for twenty years before a job transfer took me to the Bham area about a year ago, which is where i currently live. I was born in 1968 to parents that were born and raised in Gadsden, AL, and so I was indoctrinated at a very early age about Alabama football. A job transfer took our family to Oklahoma when i was eight years old, where i spent my younger years and learned to appreciate another great football program, the Oklahoma Sooners. When i was 18, we returned to Gods country, and I have remained here till this day. ROLL TIDE!!!!

I'm brad and i live in unincorporated shelby county or birmingham or chelsea. i'm a bama grad (2000) and also marched in the million dollar band. i suffered through mike dubose and david hobbs while at the capstone. be thankful if you are attending school at bama now since we have saban and gottfried (the two best recruiters in the SEC). WELCOME!!!

Hello Mark, and welcome!

My name is Scott. You won't find a better forum than TideFans.com

Although my username is UAtlantaTider, I haven't lived in Atlanta for nearly 3 1/2 years. I live in Orange Beach, AL, on the beautiful gulf coast. I graduated from the Capstone in 1987.

Hi, I'm Jeff from Trussville, AL and I am an alcoholic. Joking of course.
Grew up in Center Point, AL in the good ole days. Married to my wife. We have a bunch of kids, even a set of twins. Bama games are weekly break. My favorite food is seafood and my hobby's include golf and Bama sports.
