Introduce ourselves.

i'm Webb from red stick, and i enjoy anything LSU as long as its served with rice and cajun sausage.

We might just have to pose a little sausage wager this season . I'll put up some of Alabama's best Conecuh sausage .

BTW , I have a ton of family in Houma . I head down that way every Christmas day .

I am Jonathan (J.D. to my friends so you can all call me J.D.) originally from Reform, AL. I now live south of Atlanta in Griffin, GA but I am looking for a new career back in God's country.

Hello Mark, I too have to suffer by living close to Auburn. I am from Phenix City, a close neighbor to you. At least I can take comfort that there are a few more Bama fans in our area! :BigA:

Hello,

My name is Lance. I'm from Mobile and grew up in several areas in Alabama (Selma, Dothan and Ashford) and other places in the World (Middle East and Great Britain). I teach and Coach on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.

I'm Marc. I live in Tuscaloosa county...not really in any city. I'm close to Lakeview if you know where that is. I'm raising 4 young'ns to be as big an Alabama fan as I am. In our house, saying the name of that team down the road is like saying a 4 letter word...they won't even say it. They use the word "Them" when referring to them. I think I'm raising them right.

First post here and I see I'm also in the minority of women who LOVE Bama! I'm Suzi - been a fan for as long as I can remember, influenced by my brother-in-law who's a BIG fan (we don't know now who's the bigger fan, him, my niece, or me..LOL...so we just say we all are). I live in a true "house-divided" - hubby is an LSU fan, oldest son is a MSU fan, and younger son is a UT and Ole Miss fan. And yes, it is he!! around my house during football season but it's all in good fun:) We live in west central Mississippi but I grew up just north of Pensacola (Cantonment to be exact). Love reading all of your posts - very informative and glad I found this place. I won't post much but I do enjoy reading what the rest of you have to say.

RTR!

Most cajun sausage I have had would render Conecuh into dog food.

I'm Randy. I live in Queens, 3 blocks west of McDowell's. I'm in a band (Sexual Chocolate), and have also done a little acting. I love Alabama. I think it's just lovely.

Welcome Mark:
I am a long time lurker and rarely a poster as I have no contacts or friends of friends who provide me with inside info on the Tide. My name is Charles and I too am a graduate of the university (twice - College of Engineering 1992; Law School 1997). I have lived in four different locations (all out of state) during my time on this board and posted under a couple of different names, but this is definitely the place to come and get some responsible and completely biased ;) info on the Tide. That is why I keep coming back!!

I don't post much but try to read a lot. Especially when I travel for business and I'm out of the country for several weeks at the time. This is one of my sources for info. Though now I have a SlingBox so I can hopefully get my Bama fix even on the other side of the world. I DO NOT travel during FB season. I have a daughter who is a SR this year in the MDB.

Mods, we need an MDB icon. :biggrin2:

Howdy...I'm Greg. I live in Hanceville, work in Huntsville. A long commute, but its worth it. Lived in Tuscaloosa, Cullman, Atlanta, Arab, Hanceville. Long time lurker, don't post a whole lot. I'm amazed at how this place hooks you and doesn't let go. I get alot of info/viewpoints/perspectives here. My laptop is on this site about 75% of the time while I'm at the office.

My name is Joe and I am from Snellville, GA. I currently am in my fifth glorious year here in Tuscaloosa at the U of A and am trying to figure out a way to not graduate this spring and do it after next football saban...errr.. season. I usually get chastised a lot on here because my roommate is on the football team and I always have information that I can't reveal the source. I grew up 30 miles from Athens, GA and have had to deal with those Dawg fans ever since. Welcome to the board. Since some are mentioning famous people, we have David Greene the former UGA quarterback as well as Louis Williams a future star for the 76ers, as well as Dreek Smith, the Auburn starting wide receiver and Matt Clark, the Auburn Kickoff specialist whose sister is married to David Green. Its a small world.

Hello,

My name is Johnny and I'm from the mecca that is Vernon, AL. Welcome. I mostly lurk and don't post much as I don't have much to add either. I do like to poke fun at our benevolent dictator every now and then.

Mark,
I'm your GodFather. I'm not telling you where I'm from and I'm not telling you how long I been here (I ain't comftable wit dis widness protecting thing). I have a concrete business and co-own many businesses throughout the BamaNation, even a few close to Opelika.

You keep the Godfather happy (with plenty of stuffed envelopes) and who knows you could become a friend of ours. Get that pinky finger ready. :cool2:

Welcome to La Famiglia, La Bama Nostra, the BamaNation!

So, Godfather, are you not in the olive oil business anymore?;)

Hey I'm Todd, I orginally from Killen, Alabama outside of Florence in Lauderdale County. But now my wife Elisabeth and I reside in Alabaster. We are both employed by the Shelby County School System. She is a Program Specialist for the county, and I'm a teacher and coach. RTR
