Earle,

I grew up in south Huntsville. My parents still live on Todd Mill Road where they have lived since 1965. Not many places I haven't been down through there. Went to Mountain Gap Elementary and Grissom High School.

Huntsville is a great place to live.

My folks still live off Weatherly near the base of the mountain, behind the golf course. My sisters went to Grissom, but I was able to finish at Huntsville High, since we lived over that way my Freshman year. I used to work at Bruno's back before they made it all fancy. Good times back then.

I grew up in New Market in the 70's, while I have only been back twice since 83 it still is high on my best places to live...

Class of '91 at HHS for me as well!

Those of you who grew up in Huntsville and have ever driven down Barcody Rd. need to ask Nut here about a red chevy pick-up, goin' about 55 down Barcody, and what happened to the Bobby Brown tape we had playin'. It's a great story!

i have a feeling this is what this offseason is gonna be like...but hey i'd rather talk about this than be getting bad news...i did here a rumor that someone got kicked off the team for not passing some of the fitness stuff....but that was just talk before intramural basketball so it could be completely off base if anyone could prove or disprove me that would be great.

Can't confirm anything for you but that sounds a bit farfetched to me. I'd think that Saban or the S&C coaches would wait a bit longer to start cutting players but that's just me. Maybe the said player was just that far behind or wasn't showing up.
