What song would you like to hear, when the Jumbo Trons kick on for the first game?

The Carpentars 'We've Only Just Begun' or whoever did it

That Blondie or whoever 'The Tide is High'

George Thorogod 'Bad To The Bone'

Bonnie Raitt 'Lets Give 'em Somthing to Talk about'

Here comes santa claus :-)

i have no problem with bands calling out the government if they think they are doing something wrong. at least their songs have meaning.

If you want to make a change go before congress - run for office
Don't try to do it by SELLING your records. A different thread for a different time, though.

I can imagine that first game is gonna be wild when whatever is played andt eh jumbo tron kicks off. Gonna be rockin and rollin.

I personally enjoy the way we do things now but if they had to be different I would enjoy watching them do what our HS team did last year on senior night. Our coach wasn't real big on making a big scene about things but for our senior night he let us choose the music and come out how we wanted. We had the fog machine set up and when we busted out of our sign the seniors were all in front with arms locked and fog was everywhere and Bonecrusher's "Never Scared" was playing. It was a pretty cool entrance if you ask me.

"Battle Without Honor or Humanity" - Tomoyasu Hotei (Kill Bill theme)

"When Darkness Falls" - Killswitch Engage (not that the old people would ever allow metal to be played in the stadium, but it'd be nice)

For Those About To Rock- AC/DC for the metals buffs.

For you classical buffs.
The Ride Of The Valkyries- Wagner

The way it`s done now is still pretty spine tingling.

I think any of these would get the crowd whipped into a frenzy:

"Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" by Willie Nelson

"Istanbul Not Constantinople" by They Might Be Giants

"Freakazoid" or "No Parking on the Dance Floor" by Midnight Star

"Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins

"Sundown" by Gordon Lightfoot

"Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden

Man, some of you guys listen to some "interesting" music.

How about just the beat of the drums and the team doesn't run out on the field, they casually march (in step of course) onto the field and onto the sidelines. Saban is in the front with a determined look on his face and in the teams silence, the crowd is even louder, drowning out the drums. Then, fire erupts from every corner of the field and a gigantic robotic elephant marches out on the field launching T-Shirts wherever his trunk sees fit.

At the end, the elephant squats and the appropriate number of footballs comes out of the elephants rear end. The coin flip will instead be replaced by CNS holding his thumb sideways, relying only on the crowds reaction top tip the thumb up or down.

:biggrin2:

I don't know why not. They play rap and hip hop about every chance they get now. We 'metalheads' should ask for equal representation. Of course, if they had to do that they might just go back to letting the band handle it all. :D
