Post your score for the Bama/W.Carolina scrimmage .

Do we really have to keep score?? :p What about self esteem issues and the sort??
Can't we just give both teams a participation trophy or ribbon??:biggrin:

Oh, how about UA 59--WC 14? :biga:

Reminders! UGA holds the distinction of the lowest margin of victory by a SEC team over WCU with a 48-0 score. Auburn holds the distinction of being the only SEC team that WCU has EVER scored on, that being in a 55-6 win in 1986. With all that said, I am picking 52-0.

Well given that our offense being new could be kinda rusty along with our defensive issues, I am going to go with a real conservative final score...

UA 98

WC -3

Hadn't really figured out how WC scores in the negative but thats beside the point. If the rest of the SEC (other than AU) has held them to zero points then Saban will figure out a way to go one better. :biggrin2:

He has already done that. He took Jerry Denardo's 3-8 team and beat WCU 58-0 in his first game at LSU.

Alabama - 34

Western Carolina - 3

-- JPW will throw two interceptions

-- We will also turn the ball over on a fumble (Catamount Field Goal)

Our team will make some mistakes, but by the end of the day we will have alot of good things to say about this year's team...

Are you really in a Yee haw mood? Sounds more like Eeyore to me. WCU is not just a 1AA team. It is a PITIFUL 1AA team. To beat them in the manner you describe would be very depressing.

I think we'll easily put 50 on them. I'd be surprised to see them score. I don't care if we have a young D or not, the talent and size should just be too much for them to get any kind of good drives going.

56-0

I think there are going to alot of kinks to work out with the new system that Coach Saban has installed...

There will be some evident problems with offensive execution, defensive tackling and perhaps a missed field goal or extra point,

We've got to remember that these guys are 18-22 year olds and that they will be pretty nervous/excited/anxious (as most are every year)

However, add the "butterfly feeling" to a modified offensive system and a brand new -- extremely aggressive -- blitzing defensive system and you are guaranteed to have some problems.

The longer our guys are out on that field the more comfortable they will become and the better they will perform,

Roll Tide!
