Curry has never gotten over the fact that Bama wouldn't give him a pay raise after his 10 win season. Too bad he can't just move on and understand that we never missed him.

Curry has never gotten over Bama, period. Has anyone ever heard him ramble on about when he was the HC at Ga Tech or Ky? No, because his coaching career was only notable at Bama, and even then only to those outside the Tide nation. So let him drone endlessly about "when he was the HC at Alabama," or "he was the last man taken in the draft," because he has nothing else to be remembered for. I'll give him this . . . he of all people should know a thing or two about being overrated.

He brings up Bama so often because it is the high point of his career, and he wants to remind people that he was once the Head Coach at the University of Alabama. It is more about him than us, and it always has been. I don't dislike him, I just think that he has allowed himself to become irrelevant...

If coach Curry wants to dish it out then he should be prepared to take it. Nobody is holding a gun to his head and telling him to make derogatory comments about our program.

He has repeatedly tried to make the fans out to be a bunch of manical idiots who are incapable of objective thought. He also goes around pontificating about what is best for Bama and how we should run our program. The man did not have a clue when he coached here and he uses the fans and others associated with the University as scapegoats to cover up his own ineptitude.

His predictions are without merit. He knows less about X's and O's than I do.

Rant off.

Agreed, but he couldn't beat Auburn. One loss each year that late in the season means no shot at a NC. Bama plays for championships, not winning percentages...

Roll Tide........ the posts all hold some merit......didn't he take Alabama to the 1990 sugar bowl and could have won it if the refs hadn't jobbed us on those two fumble recoveries......and wouldn't somewheres between 25 and 50% of the national championship team have been recruited under him *grin* not to mention tuteled. Yes tuteled(that IS short for tutelage isn't it) RTR.....and git that dawg off the porch!

The ONLY thing that Curry did at Bama that impressed me was that he put Coach Bryants tower back up. I know he was trying to win favor with the Bama Nation, but I'm still glad he put it back up.

He could never take us to the top......that's what the Tide Nation wants/demands......The nation has turned over several coaches when we realized they could not get us there....They know the requirements coming in!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, Bill, but we hooked up and it did not work.........your fault, not ours...we gave you the chance........you knew what it would take to stay.......you also knew you could not produce it.....we tried/you tried/didn't work/get over it/we have.

Bill Curry was given the keys to the kingdom and forgot being able to find the lock, he never even knew where the door was.

Basketball coach Bobby Knight had an interesting statement once to all his critics, and I would dedicate that statement to 'ole Bill.

What most people do not know is Bill was hit with the brick. Till this day he can not remember ever leaving or coaching Kentucky. kidding of course

Down here in Key West TVA my Vol friend (black arm band and all) said Franchione pulled a Curry. Everyone who knows nothing about football has that deer in the headlights look when we discuss Curry. Short discussions of course. Fulmer is an all day sucker, eeer discussion.

Curry never quiet got over not being excepted and has gone to the bench to coach from outside the box. He makes statements without foundation. He has not coached for sometime but yet he can tell you everything about Alabama. What they can and can not do. Well that is just stupid.
