**OFFICIAL** Bama vs LSU Post Game Thread

Re: The Review being Overturned

We're not Ole Miss, let it go.

Roll Tide

Agreed. It's over. Spilled milk. You get the idea. The players got over it. We need to, also.

We need to now focus on the beat-down we're going to give Mississlippi State.

If there are any clowns in the SEC that are in dire need of a beat-down, it's MSU.

A summation of LSU fans.

1.) mouthpiece stolen from a member of my section. those can cost 75 dollars and up.
2.) Plume stolen from a member of my section. Not cheap.
3.) Constant and LITERALLY in your face harassment nonstop. Had to give more than one a stern "get out of my face" shove after asking nicely repeatedly, as instructed to do(asking nicely).
4.) I'm sure some desecration of campus will happen as well. I guess it's to be expected.

Gotta love a fan base that gets COPS on edge when they come to town.

So, what you are saying, is typical LSU game day experience.

Re: Caddell's Catch?

Personally I thought he caught it. I can sort of see why they might have called it incomplete but in my eyes and mind it was a good catch.

There may not be room in the Tuscaloosa jail, but they could always ship then to Birmingham......RTR

Watching from our seats when Bama was up by 7, oh they were so close. Sad to see it end in a loss, but they did come back from a 14 point deficit. This is a tough one, but they just were so close. Better days are coming.

Re: Caddell's Catch?

Hey, RAM, great thread, more than likely the game thread, if the ball bounced it did in his hands, ask the NFL if that happens when a body is going down and hits the turf. It would have a least let us get 3 points if not a TD, yes it was a big deal.

Oh, sir, let me TELL you the typical gameday experience.

1.) We are warned over and over at practice. "Keep an eye on your things, keep them close because people will try to steal them." Doesn't happen at other games. Garaunteed to happen at LSU. In my 4 years, it's ALWAYS happened.

2.) My section does NOT allow women to march on the outside during the elephant stomp because there have been TOO many instances to count of women being sexually harassed. Again, in my 4 years it's happened plenty.

3.) "Do not try to reason with them. You can't. Just be polite, say, "Have a nice day, sir." And walk away." In 2005 I, in front of a police officer, defended myself against a drunk LSU fan after spewing the same line. More forwardly, I laid him out cold. In front of an officer of the law. You tell me who you think was out of line?

*edit* These instances are LSU specific

Re: Caddell's Catch?

He had his hands on the side of the ball and the point touches the ground going down. It was the right call. As bad as I hate to say it, all the reversals were called correct.

What a game by Alabama. Sure, we had chances to win this game and pull off the upset, but let's face it. LSU is far and away more talented than us.

I say, let LSU have this game.

Things are changing. Their time is up. As the playing field levels... we will own them again. People have had their fun with Alabama and it's over.

Arkansas felt it.

Tennessee felt it.

LSU, despite pulling out a victory, knows what's coming.

Auburn is next.

ROLL TIDE!

NOOOO, come on reallly did he not get the ball, I thought it was clear, at least my heart and my crimson glasses. O well, we need to win out and win the bowl game.

Re: Caddell's Catch?

I thought his hands were underneath it. He fell on the ball, so of course the ball moved as he was going down.
Inconclusive evidence? Yeah right.
Didn't cost us the game though. A drive maybe, but not the game.

It was a catch. We cannot know if it cost us the game or not but we would have been very close to field goal range . Who knows what might have happened after that?

That was a blown replay call. How many times have we heard "the ground cannot cause a fumble"? He caught the ball with both hands, pulled it in and then hit the ground. The ball didn't bounce at all when the impact with the ground took place and then he came up with the ball. It was ruled complete and there was nothing on the replay that showed otherwise........nothing.

That play would have given us a firwst down in field goal range and we would have taken more time off of the clock. If we had done on to score a touchdown, we would have been up two scores and the complexion of the game and momentum changes.

You dang right it was a big deal. It costs us no less than 3 points. I like your analysis. There was no way it "irrefutable" as it is suppose to be to initiate a reversal. I swear, there was few of those close calls that I thought "no way, will this be overturned", but they were overturned. Horrible officiating from the booth. They must've been wearing those gay versions of the houndstooth hats to see those replays that way. I have an HD set, so unless there seeing completely different angles than me, it's a terrible call.

I tell you what, LSU had the talent to beat us by 20. I think coaching (miles and Saban)and LSU not keeping tempers in check kept us in the game.

I feel LSU should have ran the ball to beat us. But they kept throwing, allowing turnovers to happen. Bad coaching to a point when running would have prevented those turnovers. Hell Flynn could run on us.. We cant stop the run, but LSU stayed away from it.

I think our players fed off of Saban's don't panic mode, when down 17-3.

Anyways the better team won, but I bet Alabama wont be a easy win anymore for anyone.
