Pretty much sums it up. Mistakes all over the field. Several missed blocking assignments. Dumb penalties at the worst possible times. JPW once again struggles. Our best WR drops a TD. Basically the whole month of November rolled into one game. Bama clearly lost it after LSU and has been in a tailspin ever since. I would have figured that Saban would have pulled them out of the funk but this team has some issues. I guess we can all now wait and bite our fingers to see if we can get into the Independence Bowl again.........

I hope not. I'm only a year out from my heart attack and the doctor keeps wanting to up my medication.

Wow...Yall are killing me. Play makers make plays and non play makers dont. We need more play makers and that will come. We will get them at BDS next year. Till then, tighten your belt buckle and let the barners gloat. Look at what they have accomplished while we have been down. One undefeated season and no NCs. Brighter days are coming.

What I don't understand is why it seems to be a multi-year project to rebuild the OL.

Auburn threw three freshmen in there this year ... and more or less dominated in the trenches tonight.

Depressing.

Maybe because Shula only brought in one or two quality o-linemen while he was here?

For the third straight week we had a very poor game plan
and on top of that our play calling was very poor as well and
nobody is to blame except the offensive coachs and they know who they are and coach Saban needs to jack them out of shape.

Other then that I am so sick and tired of having losing seasons it's not even funny.

Flame me,laugh at me or tell me that I am crazy but I am right about everything that said is this post because I watched the whole game.

Here's my attempt to end the night on a positive spin . . .

With all of the "supposed" cancers on this team, the lack of depth and talent, the transition of the new staff (to the players and to each other), etc, we lost four games by seven points and one by three.

Maybe we really are "close" . . . . .

I'm going to bed and hoping when I wake up it's Labor Day 2008.

What they have accomplished is me and the rest of the Crimson Nation being PO'ed for 2190 days and now we have to wait 365 more..... Im sick of this BS and losing to Awbarn. Heck I could care less about winning a national title too if we beat them 6 times in a row. We have been saying wait til next year for 5 years now.... I'm tired of hearing it.

We were 6-6 at this same time last year with every game being close. I was hoping - no, I'm sick of being close. Only time will tell if we can get over the hump and start dominating people (Miss. St, La. Monroe, ole Miss, etc...) like Coach Saban talks about. Sorry guys, but I'm numb right now.

I suppose we bama fans can do what we do best: Keep talking about our past and looking to next year, which seems to be what we do every year.

I hope the future is better, I really do, but for the season to end the way it did with these FOUR STRAIGHT LOSSES.... I am not so sure.

I don't think we should play in a bowl.

If somehow we get an invite, we need to turn it down.
