Eddie Lacy: What are his prospects as a pro?

With regard to Lacy's injuries - just how "injured" has he been. I know he's been held out of different situations, i.e. lesser games, NFL workouts, reduced carries, etc. - but could he have "toughed it out" if needed. Julio was always bothered by nagging injuries but always played, mostly out...

Be Honest-After Shula Was Fired/Before Coach S Was Hired, Who Did You Want As Coach?

Re: Be Honest-After Shula Was Fired/Before Coach S Was Hired, Who Did You Want As C I remember rooting against candidates moreso than for certain ones. I was totally against Grobe and Johnson. Grobe seemed like a flash in the pan type, and after the inept offenses of the past several years I...

Link: Sacramento Takes Chance on Tony Mitchell (I assume you meant takes instead of tanks)

Looks like the Kings are going to give him a camp invite. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/222515/Tony_Mitchell_In_Line_For_Training_Camp_Invite_From_Kings#ixzz21C8FHgk5

Link: Sacramento Takes Chance on Tony Mitchell (I assume you meant takes instead of tanks)

The consensus among most Kings' fans is that he has been the best player on their summer league team, yet most feel there is no room for him on the roster. He should get some camp offers based on his play, and I hope he gets things turned around and makes it somewhere.

Watching Christion Jones on the Replay ...

IMO, Jones' most impressive return was the kickoff return 5+ yards deep in the endzone that he ran out to the 30. He definitely has the confidence needed to field punts/kickoffs and be a threat. He reminds me a lot of the 1999 version of Freddie Milons.

Link: DE / OT Arik Armstead Commits to Oregon (Update: Page 7)

Re: DE Arik Armstead decommits from USC Wasn't there a kid in the 90's named Pitts that played basketball and was on the football team? Update: It was Walter Pitts, he played with McDyess - evidently they are best friends - but I cannot find anything that states he also played football. I just...

Link: Tide leads in punt return stats

These stats make what Arenas did that much more impressive. Maze is a good returner, but he is not on Arenas' level. Teams are giving Maze chances that they would not have given to Arenas. If Maze takes anymore to the house, he will find out what Javy had to put up with his last 2+ years. I...

News Article: apparently AJ must have stolen this writers girlfriend or something LOL

This article misses the boat by saying McCarron could cost us a game. IMO, it won't be McCarron but rather playcalling. AJ appears to be doing exactly what he is coached to do. He doesn't throw into tight spaces (Penn St TD being the exception). He doesn't throw a lot of timing patterns or...

SEC Presidents: Not So Fast on TAMU

I don't see any possible way this ever happens. Their could be 3 power 16 conferences and the SEC and those other conferences would still be playing catch-up on the field. I do not underestimate the importance of the money side, but in no way, shape, or form will the SEC ever need to play...

What is the ultimate goal when taking 2 QBs in the same class?

Obviously different coaches have different intents, but I'm not sure I understand why you take 2 QBs in the same class. Are they signed with the idea that one will most likely transfer after competing for a year or two? Do you try to play one and redshirt the other to separate them? Do you...

    Our Lineup

Eblen could actually see his time rise this year. He was an enormous liability last year because when he was out there it 4 on 5 at the offensive side of the court. IF, and it is a big if, these new guys can provide solid offensive production then Releford won't have to be as much of a scoring...

    News Article: Green coming back!

Just read that article. IMO, he's the biggest need for next year. It would be an extremely tall challenge for Bama to take the next step while breaking in a new front line. Green and Gauye could make for a very formidable force next year.

Question: Who is the hardest hitter on our team?

Not doubting anyone who says Barron, but there is not a highlight out there that shows hims blowing someone up the way that Hightower embarrased Fluker or the Florida lineman.

With One Month to Go before Selection Sunday....Are We In? Or Out? (Predictions)

One enormous factor that will get Alabama into the tourney is the teams that are currently on the outside looking in. If you look at the most recent "Bracketology" on ESPN.com, the first four teams out do not have a case to be in over Bama. And, Bama isn't even listed as one of the last four in...
