    Mike stoops out at oklahoma

Absolutely it does. Did I mention 124th in Red Zone Defense?

    Mike stoops out at oklahoma

I think the Poster that stated the OU President demanded Mike resign was not accurate. LR was asked that in a presser this week and he adamantly denied it. He also laughed off a rumor about Mike getting into a fight at Halftime. I think the fact that OU finished 67th in Total d last year and are...

Game Thread: Bama @ OU Game 2

OU is better than their record. Two of their loses were to top 20 teams in extras. Got In the NCAA Tourney Last year with most of team back this year.

News Article: Breaking: Bob Stoops Retiring from Oklahoma

Bingo! I think you've got it. Bob has millions in his investment portfolio and is probably tired of chasing 18 year old prima donna athletes. Also doesn't have "fire in the belly" that you have to have. Not too many Sabans out there that still have that burning desire to be the best. So yes...

LOL - Okie Lite had rings made with wrong record... on purpose...

This revelation on the heels of the AFCA awarding the 1945 National Championship to OSU, 71 years after the season had ended. By the way, the AP selection that year was Army, considered one of the greatest teams ever. OSU graciously accepted the award, despite it being one of the suspicious...

    New Offensive Coordinator (OFFICIAL: Sark)

Re: Replacement Offensive Coordinator I don't know your sources, but I have heard nothing here In Norman about Lincoln Riley having "character" issues. Probably the last coach on the staff I would guess would fall into that category. Seems to be a straight shooter from everything I've seen. I...

Bayless was one year behind me in HS. Surprise, he was an arrogant goof back then too.

The SEC make more money than anyone and it is not close

Not surprising. Absent an Oregon, and USC, maybe Stanford, that conference just does not generate much passion. Last of the five power conferences in having fans that give a damn. SEC most money, most passionate fans.

    SEC reallignment - Moving Season?

Yep, you are correct. As to BYU, with their no sports on Sunday dictum, and from what I hear, harder to get along with than the University of Texas, plus expanding the geographical girth of the conference from West Virginia to Utah, I don't know. Pickings are slim.

    SEC reallignment - Moving Season?

You bet it was a mistake, and I think OU now knows it. As for as osu, I don't know really how much that was just an excuse to tell Slive or Boren didn't feel up to the Legislative battles likely to ensue. A lack of recognizing what the conference was becoming with the loss of some really fine...

    SEC reallignment - Moving Season?

Even though it has not been addressed here, everyone on here does know that OU was invited along with A&M, that Mizzou only came in after OU declined? So all of the banter about population and TV sets did not overcome the OU football tradition. Today, I don't know what will happen but should...

    SEC reallignment - Moving Season?

To be honest, I really do not know what OU President is thinking as far as where he wants OU to be if things do not work out in the BIG XII, which almost everyone thinks is doomed. With all his posturing, I would hope he has an "end game" to all of this. What that is exactly is unknown to me as...

    SEC reallignment - Moving Season?

+1 Now I can agree with most of what you state. The only thing is with Norman being only 180 miles from Dallas (closer than UT is) that Texas will always be kind to OU in recruiting, with or without being together in the same conference or even playing each other. OU not being an AAU school...

    SEC reallignment - Moving Season?

Really believe so? Norman is South of five SEC schools and Oklahoma borders three SEC states. Most here would identify "Southern" before they would "Midwestern". Gosh have they even heard of fried okra, collard greens or chicken fried steak in Indiana or Minnesota? I doubt it.
