Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama @ Vandy...

We looked like a 8-4 type PAC12 team that has a good offense and plays no defense. Not going to work in SEC country.

Question: Crazy stat, with a question

Tua > Burrow - Change my mind.

Tua has a better arm and release, super actuate most of the time, and if 100% healthy, could probably win a foot race with Burrow. But, Burrow is 6'4" 220ish and seems to be made of steel as far as taking hits, has great instincts for scrambling for first downs ,good all around athlete. I think...

What team(s) will Tua most likely be drafted by?

Im a Raider fan, i don't dislike Carr, but Tua is special and a better prospect. But, enough teams before the Raiders pick at 12 need a QB, i expect he'll be a Dolphin. Just hope he doesn't land on the Chargers, don't want to watch him play the Raiders twice a year.

Only one player (Tua) received Top 15 draft grade

Yep, but sometimes NFL teams get all caught up in measurables and speed over a guy that just plays the position well. Jeudy may test well or may not...but he is pretty special at playing WR

Only one player (Tua) received Top 15 draft grade

l wouldn't be surprised if Jeudy is more of a mid first rounder, no knock on him really, but just how the draft goes. The last 2 drafts have had no top 15 receivers, in 2017, three went top 10, but 2 of those have been bust players, Cory Davis and Jon Ross and the other one has just been OK...

News Article: SI: Alabama Could Be Reloading Instead of Rebuilding

Yes, but Ingram, Henry, Richardson, Lacy ,Yeldon and D. Harris all found a way to rip off a few long TDs in their careers. Henry was elite at doing it, and has had some in the NFL too. Maybe just bad luck, but Najee hasn't had the explosive runs in his career, more of a chain mover, he's been...

News Article: SI: Alabama Could Be Reloading Instead of Rebuilding

Whats kind of weird about Najee, his longest run ever at Alabama is only 35 yards. He seems to have pretty good moves and quickness for his size, but the long speed and kick in to high gear stuff doesn't seem to be there. That can drop you in the draft, especially if he runs a poor 40 yard dash...

Link: Tua discusses leaving early or staying.

I personally think he'll still go top 5, yes he has some question marks around him. But his instincts, anticipation, release and accuracy are just so elite, he could be an all timer, someone will pull the trigger early and draft him. But, what if Tua just likes the college life? Loves Alabama...

Link: Tua discusses leaving early or staying.

I assume, at the end of the day will decide to go. However, some guys do stay, even when projected to go very high. The Manning brothers, Matt Leinart. Justin Herbert came back, he probably needed to stay and get better though. Family financial situations will probably factor in. IDK, i expect...

Who will start at QB next year?

Should be a great battle Mac- an un-athletic drop back guy, who looks about 6'1" 200ish pounds, good but not great arm, doesn't seem to be anything elite about him. But, he's smart, has showed some toughness and has at least some experience, i think he probably starts the opening game...

Who are Bama Fans now Rooting For in the SEC Championship Game?

Don't know that i will lose sleep over any of it at this point, don't really care that much if it's not Bama. But, id rather see LSU take care of Georgia, and the national championship game be be OSU vs LSU. I don't think anybody is beating OSU this year, Fields is a terror to defend and their...

Defense Wins Championships, this team didn’t have it.

I agree with this somewhat, but Ohio State has found a way to field a good defense to go with their great offense, so we can still be a team known for tough defense, the 2019 squad just wasn't up to the task.

Where will this team rank in the Saban era

The young, inexperienced defense was the worst ive seen in this era, we were soft up front and out of position way to often. Still, if Tua had stayed 100% healthy we'd probably be undefeated and ranked 1st or 2nd by the playoff committee, the offense is great. I hope we can get back to a...

What are some of your favorite lines by announcers/broadcasters during Bama games?

Even though i don't generally like Brent Musburger, his - "It's a mauling folks" is one of my favorites too. I still think about that game, i loved giving Notre Dame a huge whipping on the big stage.
