Just because a Bible believer thinks the earth is only 6000 years old doesn't make him a fool. Google "The Institute of Creation Research" and you will find a growing number of scientist who believe in a young earth.

My sister taught him in high school and from what she has said he has times when his focus is not what it should be, but when it comes to crunch time, he is always there.
