Also, having the entire team in shape to last 60 minutes will pay huge dividends too. I've been most impressed with the weight a lot of the players have dropped since January.

Not during offseason workouts. The coaches cant be in there except the S&C coach. It was Shula's responsibility to do things to make players show up for voluntary workouts. Coach Fran told them that workouts are voluntary but so is playing time... things like this get players going. Shula didnt...
