One reason I stopped watching pro football was the ridiculous number of commercials. The final straw was when they ran a full commercial break after a punt. When they came back, there had been a penalty on the kicking team, so there was another punt, followed by another full commercial break...

Notre Dame until we have a winning record against them, and then on to any other teams who need correcting.

One thing that cannot be ignored is the fact that the game was played in an extremely hostile environment, and most of those fans live to see Bama lose this game. That has to get into the heads of the players, and cause them to make mistakes, and not just with dumb procedure penalties...

Nix will be facing DB's in the future who will turn that last pass into a pick six. It was a terrible mistake to throw that ball anywhere that gave the DB a chance to make a play, but he got away with it. He had an open receiver, and if he throws it sooner and leads his man, we would be...

I think that there was time for one shot at the end zone. I just don't think the pass Nix threw was what Gus had in mind. With the matchup they had, a high ball that only the 6'3" receiver could catch was a much higher percentage pass than that short throw that the receiver had to come back...

I can see Verne reading those names and then thanking God for retirement. He did a good job at The Masters with that Thai golfer's name, though, and Thai names are a mouthful.

Between early enrollment and summer classes, a player can easily graduate in three years. The fall semester graduation always features several football players, including some fifth year seniors receiving their master's degrees.
