The Trail Leading Back to the Wuhan Labs

May I submit that these are not normal times? May I recommend researching the global spread patterns of ebola, Coronavirus, and influenza virus? Each has a different R0 (another epidemiological concept which needs to be understood). See how our intervention strategies has affected each spread...

The Trail Leading Back to the Wuhan Labs

To be clear, actuarial figures and journalistic license are two different things. Journalism today is not nearly as objective as we were taught. One merely needs to compare and contrast CNN from Fox News. They both use the same figures but take different points of view — glass half...

The Trail Leading Back to the Wuhan Labs

I’m reading the same articles as you are reading and noting the same figures you are seeing, just not the journalistic spin. Without putting as much effort into my defense, I am only noting that Japan, Korea, and Taiwan collectively have a similar population to the US, but are recording 2...

The Trail Leading Back to the Wuhan Labs

Distance from Wuhan to Tokyo is 1500 miles. There are lots of Chinese visitors to the Pacific rim countries. As of last week Japan recorded 88 deaths. Korea and Taiwan are also in the same range. Lockdown in Japan only starts this week (sort of). I’m merely saying things don’t add up.

The Trail Leading Back to the Wuhan Labs

I can’t help but to chime in. No articles do I have to reference support. But regarding the American political response, the Democrats and Replivlicans are both locked into an election year when this broke... Questions that need pondering: The virus started in Wuhan, China. Today Japan...

Paper; Global Warming "The Biggest Science Scandal Ever"

Every 26 and 100 thousand years or so the warming periods and ice ages cycle. So there may be fertile soil under the tundras. It is also thought that the ice ages are the norm rather than the exception.

Paper; Global Warming "The Biggest Science Scandal Ever"

I really do believe that the solutions to both energy and food, devoid of fossil fuel or carbon based solutions, were discovered over a hundred years ago and are not terribly expensive. In other words, the solutions won’t come from Westinghouse.

Paper; Global Warming "The Biggest Science Scandal Ever"

Here is a well-written piece by investigative journalist, Nafeez Ahmed. (He also has a nice series on the history of Google). https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/8xwygg/the-collapse-of-civilization-may-have-already-begun I always had the impression that the Arab Spring in Egypt 2011 and the...

Poll: Does Tua Stay or Go?

I can’t imagine an NFL team paying first round money for someone not to play. I would imagine the contract would be loaded in favor of the team under such a scenario.

Top Iranian Commander Is Killed in U.S. Airstrike in Baghdad

Just to weigh in I tend to believe that defeating Iran is merely academic. The real problem in our activities in the Middle East (Iraq, Libya, and Syria) have to do with the ensuing power vacuum what takes the regime’s place if there is no restoration process. UN will also be extremely...

Top Iranian Commander Is Killed in U.S. Airstrike in Baghdad

As much as I enjoy the chaos in Washington due largely to the presence of the Trump Administration, I fear he began in International Relations knowing very little of the players and the situations. Since being provocative towards Moscow, beginning a trade war with China, and making the water...

Inside the 'New' Surgery Behind 2 Auburn Receivers' Comebacks

On a similar note, Terrell Owens suffered a tib-fib fracture in December 2004, 6 weeks prior to Super Bowl 39. He had a great game despite a losing effort.
