Shades of OJ Simpson. Not the murders, but the crime in Vegas that ended up sending him away for several years. So crazy to risk a career for this.

In Maryland retired judges hear cases all the time. Usually minor stuff when the active judges are in vacation , involved in a major lengthy trial etc. They fill in like a substitute teacher.

Older I get the more I realize how important “ point of view” is to how we feel about most things. I’d like to have seen him get parole because yea he’s a Bama guy, who happened to drive real fast while drunk , which many of us have done as a youngster. The difference of course is this time...

I think the Big 12 will suspend him . Not sure Texas judge can handle that case.

I read the AG of Oklahoma is demanding sorsby be ineligible and they will support such an action from the Big 12.

I know one TT alum. He said neither he nor his buddies want Sorsby playing. To their credit they think he should be ineligible and are willing to lose a game or two with the backup.

I also think overturning the injunction would be granted….but can it be heard before the season starts .. in Texas?

I agree with much of what you’re saying about the drop in talent near CNS retirement .However, it still can’t be denied we came out horribly ag Fla State and a weak Oklahoma team ( and a couple others) that were much less talented than us.

Rather than just doing thumbs up…gotta say I wholeheartedly agree! Shockingly unprepared ag teams with less talent. Has nothing to do with Caleb. That said….Im not ready to see him gone…hoping he turns it around this year.

I do not believe he’s playing major college fb next yr….prob never. As a former lawyer….most of my clients caught committing a crime or other serious act certain to destroy their lives, immediately headed “to counseling. “

I don’t think the Saban era drafts with four or five players going in rd 1 and another 3 in rd 2 will be happening anytime soon.
