So much for 'Freedom of the Press"
Will Carr wear his Trump pin while investigating the case?

If the president does it it's not illegal. You certainly can’t deport natural born citizens no matter what they did. I think it takes something extreme to deport naturalized citizens.
At the risk of sounding like some woke bleeding heart libtard, that prison in El Salvador is beyond the pale inhumane. Yes, they have themselves to blame for being there but it would be horrible to be innocent and get sent there.
Not saying prisoners should be coddled but having them sleep on metal shelves with no bedding material and packed in like sardines is insane.
When I renewed my license during the Biden administration I had to go through the real ID stuff and get the endorsement on my license. I didn't have a choice.
Full support!
I can’t believe so many people showed up with Bud Light being a big sponsor. You’d think they’d not want to associate with a company like that.
A politician taking credit for something good happening and blaming someone else for something bad happening...what else is new. I remember a debate not too long ago where a current President was telling me how the economy was stronger than it has ever been and yet I struggle to buy groceries and pay rent. He’s rebuilding manufacturing or……just the opposite…..

Now I’m not stupid, I know it’s not like Trump was sitting there in the White House and shuttering this factory. However, everyone here knows exactly what would be said by Trump and his base if this company was OPENING a new mill….
Indeed, it's practically cliché' at this point. I was annoyed about the egg prices as much as anyone else (except maybe my keto friends) and one person I know genuinely believed that Trump was going to reduce the cost of eggs on day one. Now, I'm still trying to figure out how in the hell the price of eggs became a marker for economic health, but besides that, unless Trump had a plan to shoot 100 million laying hens out of his butt, the only thing that was going to affect the price of eggs would be recovering market conditions. Could I make my friend understand that? I'll give you one guess.A politician taking credit for something good happening and blaming someone else for something bad happening...what else is new. Proposed rule change on endangered species triggers alarm for environmentalists
The Trump administration plans to eliminate habitat protections for endangered and threatened species in a move environmentalists say would lead to the extinction of critically endangered species because of logging, mining, development and other activities.
At issue is a long-standing definition of “harm†in the Endangered Species Act, which has included altering or destroying the places those species live. Habitat destruction is the biggest cause of extinction, said Noah Greenwald, endangered species director at the Center for Biological Diversity.
The question is whether the Trump administration is entitled to repeal a rule that was upheld specifically by the Supreme Court and therefore subject to precedent, said Patrick Parenteau, an emeritus professor at the Vermont Law and Graduate School who has handled endangered species cases.
Because of the current definition of harm, “many, many millions of acres of land has been conserved†to help keep species alive, he said.

I remember when U.S. Representatives and Senators (not to mention those that made VP) were lawyers in a previous life so they could understand and read the bills they submitted (and actually sometimes WROTE *GASP*). How far we've fallen.
Even more hilarious, one of the FEW people in congress who actually reads all legislation and understands it is Rand Paul, who is not a lawyer and never has been.I remember when U.S. Representatives and Senators (not to mention those that made VP) were lawyers in a previous life so they could understand and read the bills they submitted (and actually sometimes WROTE *GASP*). How far we've fallen.
