Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has suggested that Rafael Cruz, his chief opponent's father, was connected to the man who killed President John F Kennedy.

In an interview with Fox News, Mr Trump brought up a story that recently appeared in the National Enquirer.

The tabloid published a photo that it says shows Rafael Cruz with Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.

Ted Cruz's campaign called the article "another garbage story".

"His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald's being — you know, shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous," Mr Trump said on Tuesday.

LOL, somehow I missed all that. Man, Trump can be so weird sometimes. Or is that just his stutter? Sometimes I confuse the two.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has approved a request from U.S. Central Command, responsible for American forces in the Middle East, for an element of an amphibious ready group and attached Marine expeditionary unit, typically consisting of several warships and 5,000 Marines and sailors, the officials said.

The Japan-based USS Tripoli and its attached Marines are now headed for the Middle East, two of the officials said. Marines are already in the Middle East supporting the Iran operation, the officials said.

To me it’s just a Business 101 standard closing email type of statement.

At least it was about 20-25 years ago.

It’s usually tagged at the end of an inter office correspondence where a superior and subordinate are communicating over something and the sender is politely thanking the receiver for going over the subject matter and then carrying out some type of request.

Basically ‘hey this is an issue and I need you to fix it… thank you for reading this and I assume you will get it done… (or else we have a problem).

Why Trump uses it to end every single message he sends out in any form is simply because he’s stupid and doesn’t ever understand proper context for anything much less what’s appropriate.
