I really try to detach from actors politics and just enjoy the entertainment. It's hard sometimes and articles like this aren't helping me. Chuck came across as a genuinely nice guy. I hope Variety ceases to exist.
To me, It appears there a lot of people out there that were overly affected on both sides by the Vietnam War. It seems this sort of commentary is coming from War Boomers on either side.
I dont know how we get back there but we need to appreciate being Americans, be America for all Americans even those who dont look, act, and think like we do, and above all defend the freedom of America on whatever shore where its threatened. And above all, we need our elected leaders to be honest with us about the commitments necessary to do this.
We are a long way from Reagans shining beacon on a hill and instilling the American virtues.
You know we have lost our way when we no longer consider Russia an adversary...
Red Dawn and Rocky IV should be required watching in Junior High schools.
Especially Red Dawn. Just in case the Russians ever invade Colorado.

The United Nations held extortion disguised as a humanitarian vote to recognize the transatlantic slave trade as “ the gravest crime against humanity” and there were three no votes and 52 abstentions. Never mind slavery goes on today and never mind this is a sly way of minimizing the holocaust itself.
The New York Times, bastion of impartiality, went with this one:

Nothing more than a cash grab from countries that have little and want to extort money from those who do. It seems like the people that were captured and sold into slavery may have an axe to grind but most certainly not from countries populated by descendants of those not captured and sold. I stand behind the return of art and other historical items that were "stolen" but the rest of this is nonsense.
Data analytics confirm huge bias in favor of pro-Islamic regime of Iran by BBC, CNN, NBC and NY Times. These media orgs used "war crime" 32 times in news reports in the first 3 weeks of the U.S./Israel-Iran war. ZERO references solely to crimes by Islamic regime, and 88% media uses referred solely to U.S. or Israel. Islamic regime uses cluster bombs against Israeli civilians, shoots missiles and suicide drones at civilian targets in numerous Arab countries not involved in war, fires missiles at holy sites in Old Jerusalem, etc., etc. ZERO identification of these war crimes as standalone crimes by major Western media organizations. This is shameful.
The guy in the picture looks like he’s Maxwell Smart saying they missed it by “that much”.

It's an 8-1 ruling, folks.
It's what you SAY you want, the Court to "speak with one voice."
In this case, the lone voice of dissent is the one who cannot even define what a woman is because she's already decided how she's going to rule on cases involving sex change surgeries on minors. In fact, the court said this: "goes further to prescribe what views she may and may not express, discriminating on the basis of viewpoint. (You'd think people who are so against "discrimination" would be celebrating, but I learned long ago how wax that nose is).
But Newsweek thinks we're all a bunch of far leftists so there.
