I was 8 years old before I ever saw a color TV broadcast - on a neighbor's new console TV.

We watched Neil Armstrong on a tiny color TV about the size of a small microwave, with 5" screen. Or course, said broadcast was in horrible B&W anyway.

Is there any context? As in, what would it have looked like in, say 1975? 1995? Any other year?

Obviously, internet screen time is a moot point before 2000 or so.

growing up, my mom and dad always told me we all watched the moon landing together.

i "watched" it as a 7-day old on a small hospital t.v.
