I wonder what the cost was on that red card, given FIFA's history of corruption...That red card was totally bogus!

I thought about this too.I wonder what the cost was on that red card, given FIFA's history of corruption...
Yep, he got paid for setting the precedent for sure. I mean, there was no scoring opportunity, was clearly not a flagrant foul as Balogun was not even looking at the defender. In fact, watching the live action, there was nothing at all that could be interpreted as anything but two players tangled up and one stepping on the others ankle by mistake...an unfortunate accident. Yea, cleats were up but if you look at Balogun's posture during the event you see there is no way he could have landed without hurting himself, a natural instinct. They used the new technology to set the precedent to steal a game down the road from a real contender for the trophy - France, Brazil, Spain or any other team the money is against leading up to the final.I wonder what the cost was on that red card, given FIFA's history of corruption...
Hope I am wrong but losing our best striker is a nail in the coffin. The friendly loss to Belgium 5-2 in the lead up to the World Cup is telling of our chances but we also did not have Chris Richards back there to save our bacon. Richards is key to this team in my opinion. Even still, we may be outgunned in this next match with or without Balogun.USA looks poised to make a historic run.
And such a statement - like most when coming from culturally opposed viewpoints - can most accurately be described as a statement based in ignorance...
I was going to come back and say that my statement probably is also how they would describe our football. Instead, I get called ignorant.

It's interesting that the live broadcast credited the VAR notification from the "VAR ref" from Venezuela ... not that they need geo-political motivations to be corrupt, but it is interestingYep, he got paid for setting the precedent for sure. What are these dark arts of which you speak? Excellent execution on set pieces? Spectacular defenders who make Haaland largely disappear for long stretches of matches?I wouldn't detest Arsenal quite so much if they didn't employ the dark arts to their game. Can't respect that.
Hockey’s easy…there’s a big line!!!I would need to watch some videos to know what offside is. You explaining it does not translate for me. I dont recognize it in hockey or soccer.
Its almost like you are saying that you cannot run a give and go play to the goal...
He is a problem. Doku is the guy I'm worried about. What are these dark arts of which you speak? Excellent execution on set pieces? Spectacular defenders who make Haaland largely disappear for long stretches of matches?
Getting back on topic, the red card on Balogun was hot garbage, and makes the Belgium match much more difficult. Leandro Troussard is going to be a handful for our defenders.

Statements don’t make themselves. So, it’s usually the source of the statement that becomes the target. So…What other word describes a statement characterized by a lack of understanding?
Every single human being is ignorant of an almost immeasurable number of things. Still, my comment was explicitly about a statement and NOT a person, so...
