Texas feels like they're just this far away from being able to execute on offense.

If Arch finally settles down, the Shorthorns night run away with this in the second half. If not, this could be a disappointing season for them...

They're ranked #1 because the overhyped Manning train was in full swing. They have a talented team ,but nothing about them in this game looks elite. The SEC schedule will either expose them or make them emboldened for the playoffs

Both teams are good. I think the defenses are simply ahead of the offenses. Both teams. Both QBs seeing their first real start.

If you take away Manning name, he looks like any average QB. not impressed!

I've been saying that since he was a recruit. I'm obviously no QB expert but I just don't see that 'it' factor everyone says he has.

This is m hot take, and I feel many feel about the same. Arch’s greatness is being forced on us, and he is not the QB he is billed to be. I think in the end Sayin will be a better QB , and Texas will lose 3 games this year . I posted this on another thread, and meant to post on bold predictions thread .

Sayin looks better (so far) than Manning. Granted, Sayin ain't looked Heisman level but he still looks more comfortable and locked in than Manning.

Supposedly, The Manning family was all for the plan to sit Arch two years, for his growth and maturity. I thought coming from the Manning family he already had those things, but I guess he needed more.
Looks like Arch needed the hype for two years for his NIL growth.
