I voted 12 but the way this conference is shaping up I won’t be surprised by anything from 11 to 15. The SEC currently has 8 teams in the top 25 with #17 the lowest in Ole Miss. Might end up looking similar to football results at seasons end.

I think we can finish 14-4 and clinch the conference. Loss at Barn, loss at Tenn, loss against either Florida or Kentucky. Wouldn't be surprised if we end up having 15 wins.

In December I thought 14-4 would win the SEC.... possibly even 13-5.
Now I think Auburn will not have more than 3 losses.
So now I think it will take 15-3 0r 16-2.
It is still possible for Bama.

It is. I’m getting into it a lot with a bunch of folks over at the rant, including (and weirdly enough, especially) Bama fans that are already trying to crown us because Torvik says we have 90% odds of being the winners.

Those are projections. Not results, and every team in the SEC is dangerous as hell. I mean we were a couple of Nick Pringle FTs from getting knocked off by winless USCe earlier this year. Arkansas with Big Z is far more frightening.

We have a 2 game lead with 6 games to play. Don’t care if the projections say we’re 90% favored to clinch. We are good. We are not indestructible.

Auburn has a great, well-led, tough team. Easily the favorite. Still, not a "Shoo-in".

It helps that we're both freaking nasty, national title level good.

I survived the Lebo/Barbee era, when 3 SEC teams to the dance was the norm and we'd be well aware by now that we weren't tournament teams. Now year to year it's just wondering how many banners we can hang.
