Very interesting to see so many highly-rated QBs looking at Bama. It makes one wonder if the paradigm has shifted somewhat. Maybe it's better now to play in a pro-style offense rather than playing in a shotgun pass-happy offense with gaudy stats...
Nice to see see so many coaches sons interested in Bama, especially NFL coaches.

The only concern I would have with Marlon Humphrey is his tremendous ability as a track athlete. Alabama won't be able to offer what other programs can, in that regard. However, I think he'll see that his future as a potential NFL DB is very high under Nick Saban.

Kirani James 400 m gold medalist. An athlete can win a national title and a gold medal at Alabama as easily as somewhere else.

That's the exception to the rule. Alabama simply doesn't field the type of teams that LSU, Arkansas, and Texas A&M do in track-and-field. Or Florida State among his finalists. That being said, I think he is well aware of his future in football and the coaching he would get at his position under Nick Saban.

True, but hopefully the Tide is heading in that direction. Look at the bio's of the Bama track coaches now. They are basically a group of coaches gleaned from Texas A and M during the multiple title run.

Arkansas' run was during McDonald. He had 40 titles. They won for the first time with new coaches this indoor season, and they did it primarily on the backs of their distance squad not sprinters much like McDonald did. Tennessee has a tradition akin to Florida. Gold medalist Justin Gatlin ran there.

Marvin Bracy committed to FSU over Florida in 2012 despite his aspirations on the track, including the chance to compete in the Olympics. His times in high school had been oft compared to Jeffery Demps (while Demps was IN COLLEGE).

Anyway, I hope the track angle can be discounted somewhat.

The updated facility will do wonders. I've yet to see it in person, so I can't wait to compare it to what LSU and Arkansas have.

Roc Thomas has Alabama at the top again. He seemed to suggest that Auburn was negative recruiting with him.
Bama has always been at the top regardless of what is said publicly. The only way he doesn't end up at UA is because Saban tells him no. Also, Auburn negative recruiting they would never. lol. Cornwell got invited to the Elite 11/the opening this Summer the first invite and only invite at the Dallas Camp. This camp included the guy OU homers were saying was the next Sam bradford. Ill try and jump on later and add some stuff ,but time is stretched thin lately.

IMO, he's boarding a ship without steerage. Pruitt will not measure up as Defensive Coordinator. If CNS passed him up two times for promotion, that says a lot. CNS has been brilliant in the way he has given players playing time over the last few years. It seems to be a blend of seniority, effort (workouts, practice), attitude, and ability to meet a need. Last year was by far the most revealing when CNS had 4 or 5 RBs rotating with the 1st team. It showed that he did not take these guys contribution to the team for granted. Brheringing on Kelly Johnson was another example. In other words, CNS promotes players and coaches when they are ready and qualified. Pruitt wasn't either.

Does anyone have any info regarding prospects about to commit? Heard something about Shaun Dion Hamilton ready to decide and just wondered where we stood.

David Cornwell is deciding between BAMA & UT Spring games, Tony Brown is expected for A-day. Humphery is trying to make it as well. Daub was going to FSU since pruitt left. Roc and LF have no barring on each other. LF is a take no matter what.

Disappointing to hear Daub commit to FSU. His HS coach said we led big a couple of months agao but I guess Pruitt going to the Noles killed it along with Walker last year.
He must be allergic to crystal footballs and championship rings.

I understand that LF is a take no matter what but is Roc not a take at this moment until we know what is going to happen with LF? Seems like Roc was ready to commit at one point and then backed off and now announcing UA is the favorite again.
