If it is a mask that utilizes resistance, it is not a true simulation of exercise at altitude, although some masks appear to be sold using such a gimmicky pitch, and it will force you to strengthen your diaphragm. I'd be a little disconcerted if my kid was exercising with them on unmonitored. It will have some potential benefits for stamina, but is an entirely different mechanism of action. The ratio of oxygen in the air you can force in is the same, you just have to work much harder to get the air in. The closest you'd be able to simulate altitude training is a setup that actually changes the ratio of gases to more closely simulate the "thin" air at altitude. But that requires a generator and hose or an enclosed exercise space, and not simply a mask.

From what I have read and has been posted here the coaches have told QB prospects they will let them know something on June 15. I believe Cornwell will get the firm offer and commit in 2 days.

When do we not these days? I know we miss sometimes but it's almost like recruiting on varsity in NCAA football at this point.

I think Park is leaning to Georgia and Chryst would only choose Alabama if he can't enroll early at Stanford. However, I still think that Cornwell is at the top of the list. Either way we'll know before June is out.

Thanks Capstone. Not sure about someone having their own website but he looks like a good kid and prospect. With Coach Saban and as many players that he took photos with it seems they rolled out the red carpet for him. Is Kief high on our board and is he a take?
