That's a little underwhelming hire. His bio states he started out in high school and has never been a coordinator and has only been on the UT staff for one year. He was Miami's interim head coach for a few games after they fired Al Golden in 2015.

Urban had the same problem at Florida after Mullen left. Strange how that's worked for him - great with the first OC at the new place but take a step or two back with the replacement.

I'm not sure it will be an on-field position. Sark is the OC and QB coach. I know the 10th spot will be approved soon but not sure it is Trickett's spot. RTR91 - did it say if it was an on-field staff spot?
