Dieter and Diggs returning opening kickoff
Bateman 39 yard TD pass to Stewart
Bozeman gets start at right guard
Barnett is starting with the 2nd team
Xavian Marks with the first punt return
Bateman and Barnett inaccurate so far
Anthony Averett with a pick six on Barnett
Hurts is in the game after the first 8 possessions
3 and out for Hurts with a pass that should have been picked off
Barnett and the running back fumble an exchange and the defense picks up the ball and scores
Hurts picked off by Tony Brown
Hurts in for several possessions in a row. Connected with Dieter for short TD
Hurts looking like the best QB at this point
Coaches giving Hurts every opportunity to win the job

Looks like th defense is having a good day. So far, not a good day for the QBs. Trevon Diggs must be a great athlete.

The ball is probably slick with the wet field, that's the big reason all the QBs are off.

Rough day for qbs, but with the weather the way it was I don't know how much we should read into this INTS/Fumbles.

Seriously doubt we'd throw the ball that much under such conditions.

And remember our guys are throwing against what will likely be the best defensive backfield they'll see all year.

Ah the impossible calculus of figuring out things when you're playing against yourself...


I will say that the QBs have had a bad break with weather in each scrimmage. Good practice for when things are sloppy in the season though.

Appreciate the updates, no mention of running backs, other than fumbles during the exchange. Any news on how they looked.

Jacobs had a 4 yard TD. That's all the information I saw in regards to RBs.

I'm not sure. I wasn't at the scrimmage. Just posting information from a few people I follow who've posted accurate updates during the past 2 scrimmages. Hurts ran 3rd team during the warm ups but I don't know who he was competing against during the scrimmage..

Hearing Barnett is having a horrible day...defense is unbelievable...hurts is having the best day out of the quarterbacks...

Tough news on Barnett. Bateman wasn't faring much better from what I've gathered.

Barnett struggled with RB exchanges couple time. Hurts struggled early, but was lot better as the scrimmage went on. Bateman... SMH. This all from twitter. Defense made lot of crazy plays. This should be real interesting when we play USC.
