Wow. Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones on the field at the same time. That's got to be scary to some NFL DCs.

The Falcons are going to be dangerous at receiver. Julio, Sanu, and now Ridley.

Falcons were already my favorite team and this takes it over the top. How about they take Tua in 2 years and Harris next year.

I agree, but a lot of people had him slipping for the last few weeks. He didn't have an elite combine. It has hurt him.

NFL GMs put waaaaay too much stock into the combine, which explains about half the busts they have in the first round every year. Just look at the tape. You can't look at the the tape, against elite defenses, and honestly tell me that Ridley isn't an elite wide receiver.

I think Harrison has an outside chance.

I think Ridley over-bulked for the combine and it hurt his athletic measurables to help how he weighed out on the scales. Atlanta knows he's an elite 2WR in the NFL and they jumped on him. When you've got a great QB and the best WR in the NFL, you can make this pick. A lot of teams correctly assess that he isn't a 1WR in the NFL but he's probably quickly going to be best 2WR on any team.

Doesn’t strike me as a 1st round can’t miss receiver. I see him as a high to mid second rounder. So not far off, but still kinda surprised that he made it at the end of the 1st. Happily surprised, but still suprised.

I am so glad that Ridley didn’t go to the Panthers. I guess I’ll be pulling for the Falcons this Fall 😉

In this WR class he was almost a lock. In a class with better big WRs I could see that but in this draft I would have been shocked if he slipped all the way to the 2nd.

Idk what the Redskins will do in the 2nd (my bet is RB, G, or trade). But taking Harrison wouldn't be a terrible idea. We could use another safety.

I really like Chark. I also saw some people mentioning Russell Gage recently and went back and watched some LSU games. He might be a sneaky good player. He looked good in limited opportunities with the ball in his hands.

He doesn’t strike me as your typical Amari, Julio, or Justin Blackmon in that they are the full package. He was clearly the best in this draft, but again I would’ve suspected him to be a Patriot or Eagles pick in finding the most talented position player still available. I still was seeing him an early second rounder in my predictions, but hey I’m happily surprised.
