I see where Urban is thinking over the Jags job! I know it’s not college related, but it would take him out of the USC/Texas/LSU/ UT talk in the next few hiring cycles.
For the record I think Urban will be an excellent hire at Jax. He knows football, a very meticulous, detail oriented coach. I see Ohio st fans saying they don’t think his style translates to the NFL but I disagree. Plus Jax has a lot of talent in addition to Sunshine in the sunshine state!

I was talking with a work colleague and fellow Bama fan last night. So he was wondering what are the chances, if he isn’t retained by Harsin, Kevin Steele ends up back in Tuscaloosa in some capacity? His son, Gordon Steele, is already staff as an offense analyst.
I really hadn’t thought about it, but that would be interesting to say the least.

The longest he has stayed at a place is 6 years. Most gigs are 2-3. And he usually bails mentally for a bit before he leaves physically.

That seems perfect for the NFL

Plus, he will need to get over his sickness for losing. A 12-4 season is a good year in the NFL.
