Now that he is running for the highest position in the land, a completely fair question of Joe Biden would be the following:

“Mr. Vice President,
Two years ago you stated the following regarding allegations made by a woman against a judicial nominee:

“For a woman to come forward in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you’ve got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she’s talking about is real, whether or not she forgets facts, whether or not it’s been made worse or better over time.”

Sir, do you still believe that?”

I've always been cynical of politicians. I don't factor morality into my voting preference.

I'm shocked at people who are shocked at our political leaders sexual shenanigans.

I don’t see anywhere that Biden has contradicted that stance, nor has he attacked his accuser through the public.

I really think some of y’all are trying to get even for the Kavanaugh episode. But like I stated most of the Kavanaugh situation was because he was an idiot that couldn’t keep his Ivy League frat party stories and snobbish antics out of the congressional Confirmation proceedings. Kavanaugh isn’t even the worst Trump pick for a position, that one goes to DeVos, but even she wasn’t stupid enough to give anyone any reason to have multiple inquiries into why she shouldn’t be the Education secretary. Kavanaugh’s ego was more on trial than he was

CNN removed the August 11th, 1993 Larry King Episode from Google Play, the episode featuring a call from Tara Reade's mother.
They renumbered the episodes so that episode 154 is Aug10th 1993, episode 155 is Aug12th 1993. Eppisode 155 used to be for Aug11th 1993 show, the one Reades mother called. Why delete the episode if you're gonna report fairly on it.

CNN’s ‘Larry King Live’ Episode Appearing To Show Biden Accuser’s Mother Calling Seems To Be Missing From Google Play Catalog

False

Anything emerging from infowars is 99.9999% Bull.

Where’s the “I Believe” crowd? All I have to say. Refute away. You have to own this after Kavanaugh. Good luck. See you in November or if Joe thinks, maybe May.

It’s amazing that after the words “all I have to say” you continue to spout out 21 more words

FWIW, I'm an ardent believer in the #metoo movement.

But I don't frame it as "believe all women, unconditionally" and never have. When you frame it that way, there is a presumption of guilt.

That being said, I think your comparison to the Kavanaugh situation is harebrained.

Hmmm...how so?

I actually see more credibility in the Biden accusation than the Kavanaugh accusation because the alleged victim made her charge not long after the event. Whereas Kavanaugh's alleged victim waited decades.

What are the differences I'm missing?

so a Putin loving Bernie-Warren fan who just said Biden was A champion of women’s rights just a few years ago is credible than Ford who wanted to remain anonymous until BK decided to shame her name with his ignorance?

she deserves to be heard and she deserves it to be public if that is what she chooses. Frankly I've looked into her claims and they seem to have some merit. She definitely told people at the time something happened. This is on the DNC, they should have backed another horse. We need to vet this thoroughly now, just like we should have done with Kavanaugh

Hairbraind? This man was raked over the coals in front of his family. There was no corroboration of that story. This woman has that. Holler at Miley. Lol

The Blasey-Ford accusation was pretty credible to me, and the therapist notes, having discussed it well prior to Kavanaugh being a well-known public figure, were what put me over the edge on that one.

There was also the Ramirez allegation, vetted by none other than Ronan Farrow. That one gets glossed over.

I think most agree that the Sweatnick allegations were trash. Probably the reason she went through a shyster like Avenatti rather than a reputable media outlet that would carefully vet the story before running it.

Boo hoo. The poor entitled donkey had someone accuse him of doing something wrong and cried like a child because he knew he dorked up by daring her to reveal herself. Seriously, these tough guys that Trump supporters look up to and stand up for have some serious glass jaws and weak knees.

There was no corroboration of that story.

His piehole was enough to give it credibility. Had he just shut up or been a decent adult then we wouldn't have to drag Ms. Ford through the firing squad of crusty old Republican senators.

This woman has that.

When Fox News is scared to Paula Jones her, then you know that there is something really wrong with her story.

I think most of us would prefer to have this come out and seriously looked into. I think however, in this thread, most of those accusing the anti trumpers of being hypocritical are misunderstanding their own questions, and creating false equivalences. The question was "why isn't the media not covering it like Kavanaugh" to which everyone pretty much said because of things are just wacky about her and because Biden's camp hasn't made donkeys of themselves over it.

Also forgive me if I'm remembering incorrectly but was there also a global pandemic going during the Kavanaugh hearings that took up an inordinate amount of coverage and time of people's attention spans?

I can understand how it would have been more important to get a Republican guy than to cover something non-newsworthy like a global pandemic. Or is it possible that there wasn't something like that and it got more news coverage because it was one of the biggest stories going on at the time?

I'm sure someone will take this as me saying that this isn't newsworthy which is not the point.
