Here is a good Rivals article on our DL targets. As we have discussed the state of Alabama is loaded and we could get our whole class from in-state. DT James Smith is a huge priority and check out his video. Big, strong and can run. Add Jayden Wayne to this haul and call it a day.

100 % agree!! Woods and Smith are must get for our DL haul. no if and buts about it.

I will say that this seems like the fewest amount of commits at this point in the cycle for as long as I can remember. Last year at this time we only had 4 and I thought that was crazy. I am ready for a few.

I was waiting on a comment like this which happens just about every year recently. You will get the "Saban has lost it, needs to go the lake, Kirby is eating him up, we need to fire the whole staff" comments from some of our crazed posters like we have seen. We are recruiting the elite and they don't commit early. It will be amazingly great in 8 months.

Patience grasshopper, NIL has changed recruitment times i believe.

TJ, I won't add anything else to a good post on the recruiting process.
I will just say when the 2023 class is all wrap up, it will most likely be the best class in the Saban era ( and we've had some great classes) and Alabama history.

Holy Canoli, Best of the Saban era? I'm behind in my recruiting knowledge this year, we must be in excellent shape for some, no, many big time guys. And the beat goes on. Saban and the Temptations, two of the best.

So the best of the Saban era would end up being the best class of all time. That's a pretty huge statement. Man, do I hope you are correct.

Both are correct, who knows what could have happened in either game, but my gut is we still win the texas game and still lose the GA game.
