Lane was on the sideline for his play-off game also. I have that feeling also SJC.As I said previously, I believe he would have flip by now if he wanted to do so. Lane staying doesn't help us. I wouldn't hold my breath.

And our '25 commit Ryan Williams went off for Saraland. We have an electric player coming our way.Watching Saarland and Mountain Brook in 6A championship game. Love some high school football.
Yeah, some are saying he is the best player in the state, regardless of age or classification. And our '25 commit Ryan Williams went off for Saraland. We have an electric player coming our way.
They visited Bama and AU the same number of times this season.I read where Sleaze is making Smith and Russaw his priority this recruiting season. I didn’t know the duo attended almost every Auburn home game this year.
Hmmmmmm…….At some point, the NCAA is going to remind everyone that NIL can't be used as a recruiting tool. Hugh Freeze seems like a great place to put that stake in the ground. If any school has ever begged for intense scrutiny from the NCAA it has to be Auburn.
Even in the rare event a school was found guilty of violations or FBI investigation, the NCAA is willing to accept the schools self imposed penalties. The schools are now Judge, Jury and Violator.Hmmmmmm…….
I’m curious as to why you feel the NCAA is anything beyond an event-planning organization.
Since SCOTUS’s decision in the O’Bannon case, what have you seen that indicates the NCAA’s desire or power to do anything beyond stern finger-wagging?
Wonder if they`ve already been bought and paid for ( legally, mind ) by the barn?I read where Sleaze is making Smith and Russaw his priority this recruiting season. I didn’t know the duo attended almost every Auburn home game this year.
Sociology at work now?It is the easiest recruiting win for him due to proximity. I’m sure they have a lot of friends at Auburn. The money is good. No competition. Champions don’t take the easy road though. We will see.
Nah. Have faith.Wonder if they`ve already been bought and paid for ( legally, mind ) by the barn?
Imagine if tht worked in daily life. I stole millions, ran over 3 babies, ate a polar bear, and club 5 co-workers in the head with a baseball bat. I think I have learned my lesson. The judge says, "my God. You are right."Even in the rare event a school was found guilty of violations or FBI investigation, the NCAA is willing to accept the schools self imposed penalties. The " maturity" and " good guidance " parts are the problem in most cases, I would submit.Sociology at work now?
The CNS message of building mid- and longterm value is starting to lose to the “show me the money…now!” approach.
And, it takes a special kid, with both talent, maturity, and good guidance, to be able to look past the bright, shiny lure of instant gratification.
Does the GOAT have the energy to adapt one more time?
