I honestly think Saint Mary’s could be a tough out.

If we are full strength and rested and have Nelson we should make it to the Elite 8 though.

Duke is a Monster but I’d love to get a crack at them.

Usually in the NCAAT a Team made of mostly Freshman cracks under the pressure.
We certainly can't take anything for granted.

Sorry but this is Florida's tournament to lose. They appear to be as dominant as the last 2 UConn teams. If they stay healthy, nobody is beating them.
You're spot on IMO. About the only way I see they could run into a serious late game challenge are injury bug or foul trouble but that is hugely dependent on the zebra crew(s) assigned. They're just too strong, deep and talented to not be the odds-on favorite right now.

Lunardi has us losing in round 2 to St Mary's -- :(

I'm seeing no one put us in the Final Four -- good or bad?
I do think St. Mary's is a tougher draw in the Round of 32 than many want to admit.

We should beat them for sure but it's not an insane pick or anything.

I did read a pretty good article on ESPN breaking down all the NCAAT teams and it has us with a Ceiling of making the Final Four.

The reason most talking heads are probably not picking us to get there is Duke.

I do think people will sleep on us though -- which isn't a bad thing

If memory serves, almost everyone had us losing to St Mary's in the second round last year. Grand Canyon upset them. Vandy is definitely capable of taking them out too.

Ole Miss has a sneaky good path to the elite 8.
I'm glad another SEC team is there, but I have little confidence in a Rebel Run in the tournament. I just don't think they are built for the constantly changing nature of the Dance. Each game, it's something you have to adjust to. The better teams have to navigate those early games against relative unknown programs, then to advance to play better teams who they may have seen during the season.

Not that I disagree with his assessment and naming ... but filing a lawsuit is just stupid.

However, South Alabama might want to consider filing a lawsuit for the idiocy of their bid to NIT being revoked:

I think we must have amateurs running these things now.

The committee's reasoning on that was kinda sketch. They said it was because of the Tucker DeVries injury, but he hasn't played since December 6, so that's clearly not the reason. But still, filing a lawsuit is about as crazy as claiming a national championship because you got left out of the CFP.
