They did an awesome job of keeping most of the 2025 class together with the onslaught of NIL and transfers madness last year. Bama finished Top 3 despite all the changes from Saban's departure to new coaching staff. I expect this staff under Deboer to continue to recruit and evaluate at a high level.

This is no surprise but we made 5* athlete Brandon Arrington's top 6. He is very high on us and has made the comment that he likes how many Cali kids we have in our secondary now. His 10.3 100 meter time is incredible.

Arrington looks like he would be a huge get and it is good to be on his list. The Bama staff has done good job in California.

It is so far out, especially under today's rules-not-rules, that I don't know why I try to keep up...

Coaching is going to be the difference. If Alabama keeps putting guys in the NFL I think it could make up for the NiL differences.

This is a pretty big shock, actually. If he committed elsewhere, it was supposed to be Tennessee. Sounds like they swooped in with a strong offer, a la Will Wade. Wasn't really expecting a commitment till summer. Doubt they hang onto him. It's a looooong time to signing day.

Recruiting intel on WR Cederian Morgan, LB Talanoa Ili, TE Mark Bowman as elite football players weigh options

"Loy on Morgan's recruitment: "I think, at this point, you really have two tiers and I still like Alabama above the rest. You've got Alabama, Auburn and Florida in the top tier, and Georgia, Clemson and Colorado right after that."

Morgan would be a great get from the loss of Keys and furthermore an in-state kid to boot!

They're still pretty far behind if they're only spending $13M. That's less than the number I heard for us, which was like $15M, and everyone says we're behind too. I guess their strategy is to make it rain on the bigger names and skimp elsewhere. I'm betting that won't work long-term.

I have said it once I will say it a million times for Bama to win they better have the best coaching and development around. I do not think we will keep getting top 1 or 2 ranked classes as we did with Coach Saben
