No JOKE! USF started on their own 5 after making UF go 3 & out. Now they're on Florida's 30. A 7:30 minute drive and counting.

Wait..make that on the Florida 11 with a facemask or horse collar tackle being tacked onto it.

Just an update for those of you not watching. USF is up 7-0 on Florida after a 9:58 minute drive that started on their own 5. The drive was filled with penalties both ways and Florida's defense looks spent already. This thing could get ugly.

Man, Lattimore runs hard. I think he'll be the best back in the SEC East for the next 3 years. I bet auburn's wishing Lattimore came their way instead of Dyer right about now. Was it me, or did Dyer go down on 1st contact a lot Thursdsay night?

The main thing hindering Dyer is the offense that Auburn runs. He's a traditional power back and they're asking him to be Steve Slaton/Noel Devine. And he's just not that. Until they start lining up in the I or at least putting the QB under center with him as the single back, we probably won't ever see him reach his FULL potential.

That's a good point; I didn't think about that. He's got some talent, no doubt, he just didn't look all the tough the other night. But then again, we are used to watching MI break 80985098093485 tackles a game.

I the same thing in both of their games. He was taken down easily by one guy numerous times.

Lattimore is the real deal, and reminds me of watching Ingram & TR run the ball their True-freshman yrs. The SC game worried before going into this yr because of where it's schedule, and now SC's looks legit. Should be one heck of a game if both teams are undefeated going into that game, but Bama just needs to take care of the game in front of us........

:BigA: ROLL TIDE :BigA:

Lattimore has looked good; as has the USCe defense. It'll be a very tough game for us this year. With how UF has played thus far, if USCe holds on, they should be considered the frontrunner to win the east.

Agreed! Looking like a USCe/UF battle for the East.

If think Lattimore would have the same numbers if USCe played UF today. Good thing for UF, they play USCe much later in the season.

Right now I think SEC East is SoCar's to lose...and I'd put UF 3rd best in the east right now. I don't think they're playing at the level UGA & USCe is. That could change of course, but right now they just don't look that good.

i just can't fathom how a D1 football player doesn't know how to tackle. UGA is proving me wrong.
Agreed. Some things in life are complicated. "Square up, be the hittER rather than the hittEE, wrap up, grab cloth, hang on"...NOT on the "complicated" list...

exiled
p.s. - On a related note, there was the flag football game between UETP & Youston last night...

Alshon Jeffrey is such a matchup problem (unless you are Marquis Johnson)! I'm not sure if I should start getting worried about USCe or if UGA is just having problems adjusting to running the 3-4?
