Question: 25 on NFL rosters

Did anyone notice the statement during the Bama/LSU broadcast regarding 25 seniors from the game would be on NFL rosters next year? That seems awfully high to me. How many seniors do we have and how many does LSU have?

I thought they said 25 seniors from LSU/Alabama would be in NFL camps, not necessarily on the rosters though.

That's what they said, and that is still an incredible number when it's just senior classes being talked about.

I believe the breakdown was 14 from the who's, and 11 from Bama; this was seniors only. And I agree, that many may be in camps, but I'd be surprised if more than half make rosters.
Still, an impressive number.

I count 12 I think will be in an NFL camp. Woodall, Anders, Arenas, Deaderick, Washington, Cody, Ma Johnson, M Johnson, Peek, Tiffin, Upchurch, and D Davis.

I would put these guys and a long shot but could get signed. McCoy, Fitzgerald, Rogers, and Reamer

We had a thread not too long ago about the '92 Bama defense. There were something like 16 players on the defensive side of the ball that played on that team (got playing time that season) that made it to NFL camps. That just from one side of the ball. It is nice to know that our talent is nearing that level again...
