A-DAY full capacity needs to be promoted for 08 game.

Yeah...if I were you I would try to get there between 45 minutes and an hour before things get started. They will be out there warming up and everything before kickoff...so there will be things to see. I think I got there about 45 mintues prior to kickoff last year and the bowl was maybe 70% full. We were excited that the bowl would fill for...to the best of our knowledge...the first time and that we would be there to see it. Little did we know that it would fill...then 20-30 mintues later the West Upper Deck would fill...then 20-30 minutes later the North Deck...and then finally the East Deck...with people still trying to get in and people standing in aisles. It really was a special day and I get chills every time I think about it.

RTR!!!

I'll be there with my family again. Last year was really special and just like CNS said it has to be impressive for the recruits to be in that kind of atmosphere for the spring. I can't wait!!!!

I really think we started another Alabama tradition last year--even if they expand the stadium, we will still pack it out!!!!!

My husband and I, Dad and Mom, possibly my brother will be there. It was so awesome last year. I can't wait.

RTR :)

This will be our second A Day game in a row (trying to start a tradition with my 13 year old Son... and we live in Dallas, TX). Of course, my Son doesn't mind missing one full day of school the Friday b4 the game.

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, too, don't think this day will need to be promoted! I am coming from Arizona, along with several others from the West Coast. Unlike other schools, A-Day is "FAMILY DAY" for the Alabama folks. It's when we get to stroll the most beautiful campus in the land, listen to Denny Chimes, tailgate,..... well you get the picture. All this, without speaking of the scrimmage!!

I challenge all of you to bring a young person that might otherwise not get to come to a game at Alabama. After all, the game is free! There are many youth in the state that would love to see the campus, hear "Yea Alabama" for the first time, see the Quad and begin dreaming of attending the University of Alabama! Let's give back to the University that gave so much to us!!

See ya'll in the Spring!!
