In the spirit of helping out a fellow PHD student collect data for a dissertation study, we at TideFans.com are participating in a study of message board importance. This survey was prepared by Galen Clavio who is completing his PHD at Indiana U. Galen has agreed to share his results and insights with us once he's finished. Your information will remain anonymous. Galen has a number of articles already published in scholarly journals in sports marketing and communication.
I've been communicating with Galen occasionally over the past several months in getting the survey items prepared. The survey is IRB approved (meaning he had to go through a fairly rigorous process at Indiana U. to even get to this point). The final results should be interesting!
