AL A BAM vs LSU???

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

For what it's worth, the offensive staff met with coach Gruden during the bye week. Sent him a list of things for him to look at and come up with suggestions.

Also Grubb seem to hint the root of the issue with running game is the double team executions, how it's being coached and how the players is responding. He also mention running backs, and OL not being excited to run the ball and he wants them find the joy in running the ball. The practice this week was much better according to him. When you combine that with long passing routes, I think good things will happen in running game this Saturday.
For additional reference:

They are working on it since we have not had one all year that I can recall and is a weakness. Hope to see it this Saturday but will also be fine with short to medium routes Ty has been lethal at.
I think we might have had one against LA Monroe. But I could be wrong.

We were clearly trying to hit some deep throws against SC, just couldn’t connect. Also looked like we were trying to just draw some PI flags by throwing them- which we didn’t get. There were very open underneath passes available that we just didn’t take, which is why I think we were trying to force it to happen.

I’d love to get some deep shot daggers in, but at the same time I hope we don’t try to force it and end up killing drives by trying to make it work if it’s not.
