I am not going to lie, this week game has me a little concerned. LSU comes into Bryant Denny with absolutely nothing to lose. They will have a new coach and some new plays to work with, they can play relaxed because they got rid of a coach that did not fit well at LSU at all. You cannot do the same things at LSU as you did at Grand Valley St, Central Michigan, Cincinnati and Notre Dame IMO. CBK's New England upbringing did not play well at all with the French Cajuns. Bama had better come ready to play.

What's your thoughts?

I kinda think LSU might be a big enough mess that they don't get the boost from a new coach like some teams seem to. But them having a bye to come up with a bunch of stuff we have never seen on tape is a little concerning.

I don't know that the interim coach thing is gonna matter too much. The emotional part has had time to wear off a little and the interim is not exactly fighting to get the job,
The LSU players will be hyped up some because it's Bama but if we just come out ready to take care of business the hype won't help them for 60 minutes.

Lsu will be hype because it's Bama, but they are out of the Playoff discussion and the SECCG race. They will be rested as well as Bama. They will play well enough to keep the game close for first half. Once the game is in full swing, Bama will take over and move on to the next. DeBoer has never loss in BDS and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

Exactly. We have to come and play hard and let the emotional storm subside after the first quarter. We need a game plan that will manage this and once they are hitting a lull, need to pound the rock down their throats. We cannot panic and make stupid mistakes early on.

I am also worried that LSWho is going to pull out all the stops and we will give them hope early and end up in a last second thriller. Hope I am wrong. 🤞

We'll win this one by at least two scores. The OU game and the Auburn game have me more concerned.

Then again, I absolutely did not expect the game we saw against Sackerlina

I saw where Simpson said they have been working on long pass routes. Looking forward to it!
For what it's worth, the offensive staff met with coach Gruden during the bye week. Sent him a list of things for him to look at and come up with suggestions.

Also Grubb seem to hint the root of the issue with running game is the double team executions, how it's being coached and how the players is responding. He also mention running backs, and OL not being excited to run the ball and he wants them find the joy in running the ball. The practice this week was much better according to him. When you combine that with long passing routes, I think good things will happen in running game this Saturday.
