This is a great game for two obvious reasons:
1. It is Michigan, another blue blood
2. Both teams really want to win and are capable of winning, which will keep Alabama focused through practices.

#2 is really huge as a lesser matchup would be less likely to glean the focus necessary to see improvement which can carry over into 2020, and it is all about 2020 now.

So who on Alabama's schedule would you most compare Michigan to since you've seen Harbaugh more than most of us.

Defense - LSU, but their lately improved version
Offense - I would compare them to Florida this year, but you haven't played them

They have the athletes on defense, but they have played undisciplined. Reminds me a bit of Alabama's defense this year, to be frank. Poor tackling, missed assignments, lots of penalties - but without the excuse of players lost due to injury. This is just what they are - really talented, play great at times, then make a huge mistake that opens the door for their opponent.

Patterson will determine what they do on offense. They cannot run the ball well enough without a downfield passing threat. Lately Patterson has been very good. If you face that version of Patterson, especially without Lewis pressuring him from the edge, UM will score.

My guess - Alabama wins by 2 scores - something like 42-28.

I got my tickets today! Really looking forward to a70 degree January 1st.
With Tua we would win by 3tds. Without Tua I will be thrilled with a 7-10 point win. We had better be well prepared and motivated or I could definitely see us going down.

Mobile QB who can also throw is biggest pain especially with this defense.

the offense will likely score in bunches.

I do not want to see even ONE field goal attempt by Bama.

trying to get excited but not there yet. Hopefully the guys are doing better with that than I am.

Just read the al.com practice report. Deionte Brown injured in practice today. Hope it’s not serious and that he can play in the game. He’s our best run blocker.

SMH about the injuries....

I`m old enough to remember when an 11-2 year, if we get there, was great and far from considered a failure.
Would definitely help how we remember this season a great deal to win the bowl. I hope the players agree and give a 2011 Citrus Bowl type of game for us.

Hated to read that about Brown earlier. I hope he is ok and can play. My biggest fear is it is a serious injury and it makes others reconsider playing such as Named and Jeudy.

Your next post will be good news that you read on another site...please...

I’m thinking Michigan and Harbaugh are super motivated for this game. Im thinking our players are thinking about how many things they can do at DisneyWorld.

Prove me wrong, team.
