I hate to say it but I have very little confidence in this defence. They do absolutely nothing well. They are not sound schematically or fundamentally. Not assigning blame, just making an observation. Jones will have to score 40 or more to win.
I get the feeling that Bama won't be taking this game for granted. If they were taking this one for granted more players would be sitting it out. I think the team is kind of angry about the way the season ended and have something to prove.
I would be distraught and aghast if Bama lets the skunkweasels walk away with a win. But I won’t be feeling this way because I have true faith in the Tide. RTRHere's to them proving it RTR
Someone is learning a valuable lesson about messing with elephants 😂I honestly don't understand what's going on in this clip...
It is not a great thought but this is probably the most ineffective defense Saban has fielded here. We all know what is a large reason why but it is not even being a downer to admit it at this juncture.
The Diggs 100+ yd scoop n score is really the only significant play they've made all season. Any other situation where it was absolutely critical for them to get a stop, they failed. Heck, the fumble was really on the Vols QB ad libbing. If he had run the play called by the coaches, they were going to score a TD in all likelihood.
All we can do is hope they lose two more starters due to draft sit-outs and somehow perform better than they have all season. I've seen weirder things happen.
but still, 971Aren’t a lot of those (ancient) Michigan wins from games where they played high school teams?
I know one of their losses was at the hands of FCS Appalachian State🤣
if Michigan wins its because Michigan wonPerhaps Michigan wins this game but it would have to take an unmotivated Bama team, which is what we've seen in other similar bowl games in the BCS/CFP era.
I think if we show up focused we win on talent alone.
But the Michigan program in the last few years reminds me of a common Texas slogan: "Big hat, no cattle."

Straight up...I'm not making excuses. Part of winning is showing up ready to play. I hope both teams do!if Michigan wins its because Michigan won![]()
Wow. Now.......ANYBODY should be able to see logic here. You Sir....should run for Congress.if Michigan wins its because Michigan won![]()
Michigan (Bowl)...USC...UGA...A lot of this tale told before we get to The Who's and The Boogs next year...As for our Defense.....Coach Saban has been to every game this year. He saw everything that happened or didnt happen. He knows what needs to happen for a revitalized form of Defense. He was disappointed too. And I am talking about things which were about coaching. No one could have predicted all the injuries. Spring will be tough this next year. I am no coach, but I think some coaches may move to other positions, and some may not be there. His widom and experience will take it from here. Many changes loom. Go get 'em Bama. Looking forward to the Awbun game. And That other one in Baton Red.
