As for our Defense.....Coach Saban has been to every game this year. He saw everything that happened or didnt happen. He knows what needs to happen for a revitalized form of Defense. He was disappointed too. And I am talking about things which were about coaching. No one could have predicted all the injuries. Spring will be tough this next year. I am no coach, but I think some coaches may move to other positions, and some may not be there. His widom and experience will take it from here. Many changes loom. Go get 'em Bama. Looking forward to the Awbun game. And That other one in Baton Red.
Oh no doubt....but Those 2 games are already special. One game at a time though. Next up is the MaizenBlue....or is it AmazeNblue??? Heck....I am ready for Spring. Let's get this one over with.

Yeah I saw that. I was attempting to converse with OLS....but I talk to myself when I am busting knuckles under the hood so......but I normally don't answer logic about an engine. Especially mine. Not on anything stronger than Tylenol so.....there's that.
No worries man (y) just giving you a hard time. Hope your motor cooperates. My knuckles are scarred for life on account of my wrenching escapades, personally.

Agreed, Auburn had one of the worst offenses in college football, the team had everything to play for and appeared motivated, and they still got torched by a QB absolutely NOBODY Had trouble stopping. They are actually worse than the sum of their parts it seems. I don't understand it at all. I really do hate to be a "debbie downer" but hoping for defense from this unit is like the hunt for life on mars. The chances are extremely low. At least in the 80's when I was in school we could put a QB out of the game or something. I don't recall the last time we retired a QB to the bench. You can say the rules have changed, but seems nobody had problems retiring Tua to the bench.

There is a lot wrong with this statement. First of all, no one retired Tua to the bench except Georgia last year, and of course Tennessee/Mississippi State this year. Each of those were because he was, perhaps unwisely, trying to extend plays. NOT because the opposing defense was doing anything special in getting to him.

Also, despite their win against us, I beg to differ that Nix torched our defense. He didn't hit 200 yards passing, and had a 50% completion rate. He made some nice plays, but nothing special. I'll agree, our defense didn't get enough stops in the game especially in critical situations. But this notion that Nix looked like an All-American against us... that dog won't hunt. Which of course, makes the result all the more infuriating.

The defense is going to do fine in this game. The offense is going to score a lot of points. We'll win if we don't turn the ball over. We'll blow them out if our LBs have a good game.

He had ONE good drive that was helped by some Auburn "fluky dust" magic plays that seem to only happen at JH. So I totally agree he did nothing special, and he didn't turn the ball over

My simple wish for this game is that CNS has the player's attention and they approach this game with as much or more enthusiasm as they normally would during the regular season. 🏈

I know that I am ready to get the last bitter taste of the AU game out of my mouth, so I am really ready for this game. It is still a week away. I am chomping at the bit. At least there should be a few good games available in the next few days. I'll try to watch them to see if they can hold my interest. Roll Tide!

I have a weak spot in my right cornea, from a metal splinter off the exhaust system of an old truck I owned... :)
Ouch! My eyes survived days-embedded, infectious rust flakes and brake fluid from my young and stupid wrenching days. Now I always wear eye protection when working under a car 🤓

You have the FACTS wrong! Just ask RGW or read all his posts. He will inform you of the FACT that Bama got torched all season long! Sorriest defense to ever take the field. The only way Bama wins is if Michigan loses half their team and has to forfeit. No hope for us Bama fans. 😩

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Bama is going to be ready! Roll Tide
