I'll step up and own that... That was me. For the record, I also cited Pete Carroll and Gene Stallings.

I'd still stand by that statement, even WITH the Weis comment factored in.

No disrespect intended. At the time, the point was valid. I was just pointing out how the landscape has changed. Weis is now among the most obvious end-of-year-fires this year. Three years from now, there might be some "elite" coach who will be on the chopping block. Last year, Tubby and Fulmer fit the bill.
