You guys will be really disappointed when this happens but eventually Kirby will be leaving whether it be Georgia or someone else. It will probably be this year.

I don't set myself up to be disappointed because someone will offer Kirby a head coaching job soon. It is a matter of life and knowing that good things happen to good people. What good does it do to get worked up if Kirby or another assistant coach leaves for greener pastures?

I was just kidding you goose. There is a big difference between being disappointed and getting worked up.

Speaking of blackout (redout games)(redout games usually are sponsored by visine for the crying jag afterwards)..... Look for what happened in the wake of Bear Bryant’s success. He put more of his assistants into HC positions in college football than any other coach ever. Look for guys like Muschamp, Smart and McElwaine to start getting major offers from D-1 schools. This might help level the playing field some more, but just keep in mind, the master doesn’t tell all of his secrets, Grasshopper…….

If memory serves, the number of college head coaches Coach Bryant had produced when he died was 45. I remember looking at a tv tribute, and the names of them all were rolled, like credits across the screen. Amazing...and I think we have another world-class mentor in-house now.
