That was our worry - refreeze while the game is going on. I think the low is forecast to be 12F and it should be dropping as soon as the sun goes down. There was a personal slant as well. Our DIL is newly pregnant and would have worried herself sick until David and I got back...

Yes, main roads into campus from the interstate (21st and West End/Broadway) are fine. Even campus roads are clear now with all today's sun.

Me and my best friend had tickets to tonight's game, but can't make the trip because the roads could re-freeze by the time the game is over. So, I'm stuck posting in the game thread and yelling at the TV . Hoping we can get it done tonight though, and the fans that do make it, yell louder to make up for me missing the game. RTR!

1 1/2 to 2 inches here in Metro Nashville. Not a huge amount, but it came on FAST and locked everything down.
